Can someone please explain to why at 1:40 why the bystander was aloud to put rings from outside and hand them to the bot? Thank you for your time and well played!

Just out of curiosity, did your referee score 3 mobile goals being balanced or just 2?
Its pretty cool and a great idea but it would be incredibly difficult to pick them up efficiency in a competition setting
Most useless machine
tfw banging against the fence actually aligns the robot
The fighting for that last tower in the end
We love a good 1v2.
Thats hype
Lol. I’m from New Zealand and our robot can consistently balance with five base and half the time we can balance with all seven.
Congrats, that's impressive!
that was really good guys
valorant baby!!!
that hat tho
what is that oddly shaped plastic piece?
It's a custom piece of polycarbonate! Rings can slide on by pushing down with the intake but the piston must be actuated (which deforms the plastic) to release rings.
Do you have any videos of baker field states from turning point?
cali representation
Just curious about the connection point of your mobile goal intake (the back one with the motor) how are you connecting the main c-channel to the other channel? I've been working on a similar design for a while but I haven't been able to figure out the attachment issue just because ei can't wrap my head around it lol
Hi, thanks for the comment! Could you clarify what you mean by "main c-channel" and "other channel"?
@@DylonTjanaka Oh sorry about that! By main c channel I meant the one connected to the gears of your forebar, and by the other channel I meant the one it's attached to that appears to be a 5 wide
@@DylonTjanaka to be even more specific now that I'm not running off of 3 hours sleep, i specifically meant the connection point between the c-channel thats screwed into the gears for your fourbar for your Mobile goal lift and the (5 wide?) C-channel where it's pivot point is
Hopefully that helps to better clarify my question
stevo's worlds robot was amazing
How does it release the ring tho, tahts the part I’m confused by
I expiremented with a similar kind of intake a few years ago for a VEX IQ game. These kinds of intakes are very good when they work, however they are very prone to jamming and require the rings to be in a very precise location. Gl, id love to see one of these working!
love how both platforms are red
One of them has blue tape 😃
But you underestimate how easy it is to de score rings and also prevent you from picking up rings
Thanks for the comment! I agree, it's pretty easy to descore and defend. One possible counter strategy is to collect rings until the last 30 seconds of the match. During the last 30 seconds, since platforms are protected, a robot could climb its platform and score rings on a neutral goal unimpeded. Not saying this is a winning strategy, but definitely food for thought : )
tfw your spinner thingy stops spinning
All the spinner thingies, not just one spinner thingy :/
I am going to use double acting so if I intake more than 4 rings and I want to release on the nuetral goal I can keep the rings in place
Wow this is weird this video justs showed up on my home page and I clicked on it and I'm in the video I was the driver for 40079A
Great match, but that is not trapping at the end. They have three different ways to escape at the end.
when you have to shove your own alliance partner out of the way to get to the platform
🙃
That's a lot of parts on the field
