I’ve been wishing Michael would get into journaling for a long time, and I love the idea of us sitting on a Sunday morning with a coffee and a candle preparing for the week, so I’m BEYOND excited that he’s finally letting me do one for him. I’m excited to share what I’ve come up with for him!!

I learned about the PAL too late to implement it tho year, as I’d never seen it until before until I bought the kinbor dupe. I’ve given it to a friend though and we’re going to do monthly plan sessions, so I’ll see it in action! Have you used it before?

Yes, I used to do a similar layout a lot in my bullet journals, that’s why I think it could work for me too!

I forgot to add. If you get a printer, with a scanner, you can scan your art, save it. And print it as many times as you need for different planners. I started by drawing each planner separately. I made it to August last year and ran out of time and desire to do them all. Buuuut, if they have similar themes going on, you make a master copy, and use your own art again 💙 (I just figured this out for next year's bujos (I make 3-4 a year for Christmas) and I couldn't be happier. 💙💙💙😁😁 really hope this helps. Lol. Don't know why I didn't think of it sooner. 😄

This is a really good idea! I’m literally only making one this year for Mike because I’m so busy I didn’t think I’d have the time! I do make a hand bound printed book every year for one of my friends, so maybe I’ll make a couple of versions of that and give it away…!

Hmm, not really sure though if its the same tmr, its definitely slightly different, side to side with hobonichi, so i'm not sure if itz the same. But its nice quality.

It definitely feels different, but then I find a few of the different planners that use TRP feel slightly different to each other, so I defer to anyone who knows more than me! 😂

Omg thank you so much for telling me! I’ve just looked it up, and I can only find it on a couple of international websites - not even on the Kokuyo website. Do you know if they’re doing a 2025 version? I could only see 2024 and earlier.

@@franimationcentral7157Yes I just pre ordered mine for 2025. In America it’s available on the Yoseka stationary web site for pre order, and I also saw some other smaller web site carrying it.

@@franimationcentral7157 Yes it's a dupe for the PAL Planner! I was thinking about getting it for the cost but ended up getting the PAL anyways. She's offering a 2025 version but not collabing with Kokuyo! It's available for pre-order on Yoseka and ABlankNote

I don’t mind mixing brands - I’ve found that I end up with a few favourite colours that I use consistently from each brand. Some brands have inconsistencies of creaminess/ashiness within the same range as it depends on how the binders interact with the different pigments, so some combinations do better than others. Mostly I just try not to think too much.

I’m very much a believer that if you’re not making mistakes then you’re not pushing your comfort zone enough. It would be nice if my comfort zone was just a little bit bigger, but we do what we can with what we’ve got 🤷🏻‍♀️ Michael’s the best, right?!!
