Even though the techniques are similar, Sensei Thomas is teaching Ko Soto Gari not De Ashi Hari.
Sensei Thomas is the best!
Sensei Thomas is the best!
Excellent demos, Sensei Thomas. Especially enjoyed your tai-otoshi explanation starting around 11:00. Hope to see many more of your classes here and eventually in person!
Greetings from Finland!
umm, what?
Looking good!
Great job Jodi!!
Thanks to Prof. Kirby for showing good ground positioning for real-world self-defense (cf. the more sporting focus of BJJ).
I remember this outstanding performance by Jodi and there's plenty to learn from repeated viewing!
Thank you, Tom! That feel like quite a long time ago now! I can’t wait for us to all be able to gather for shiais again in the future!
Clear and thorough demonstration by Professor Kirby.
I really like how, in a brief video, George explains such a important technical refinement. This is the sort of concise demonstration that any martial artist, from any ryu, can learn from and apply in class immediately. Additional footage of similar duration and clarity would be most welcome!
Nice job!
