My grandfather was gonna go to the game, but he decided not to go because I was born on this day at 6:31am
41:53. The last TD of Freddie Solomon’s fantastic career.
William Andrews never got the respect he deserved. In my opinion, he was the best all purpose back in the league.
44 years ago Today. Good memories.
What a great game and maybe the best Thanksgiving game ever.
That Payton run to the half yard line vs Atl was so obvious that his knee was down WAY before the ball ever moved … those really bad ref calls are why we now have instant replay.
If I saw William Andrews running at me full speed I would piss my pants and run for for my life !!
The Vikes missed the incendiary qualities of a guy named Kapp?
I once saw the Lions play at tiger stadium. In early 1970's Mel Far ran a record russing yards. It snowed and there was a 10 minutes standing ovation. Greg Landry quarter back. That was real tough football. Body blocks were allowed back then. No delay in game for instant replay.
Howard Cosell made MNF exciting!!!! He was & still is the #1 SPORTCASTER 🥇👏🇺🇲🏈👍😉
PBP: Merle Harmon Color: Jim Turner
Dann......"I loved this team...and that "beautiful uniform....... Please bring back that uniform!!!"
I started this year watching every 49er game in a row on TH-cam starting in the 1950's. This game was such a shitshow 🤣😫🤮 lol I couldn't imagine watching this season back then as a fan. Thank gawd Bill Walsh dropped outta heaven soon after. thank you for the video
Donald Trumps new chief of staff at 39:10
Ray Malavasi had Tony Soprano and Paulie Walnuts firing up the team at halftime..lol. Whatevah happened there..
Sounds like a Familiar voice in the broadcast booth

What the hell did Meredith do with the money we sent him to get singing lessons?
Yes the packers outplayed them😢
John Jefferson came in 81 the pack needed a Jack Youngblood defender
Bart Starr deserved better 😢
Thanks for this
I give anything to go back to those days of my childhood
Memories of the orange bowl before joe robbie stadium
calvin hill on the skins? hell no! who's next, jake scott?
New York Jets ❤ Houston Oilers
OJ was the best runningback in the 70's
My good friends uncle was 22 Rolland lawrence
I see so many 49ers that will one day play in multiple Super Bowls; Joe Montana, backup, Freddie Solomon, starter, Dwight Clark, back up just to name a few. For the Seahawks there's Danny Doornick or Dr. Dan, #22 Dave Brown #44 John Harris, Terry Beeson, so many that would play on future Seahawk playoff games, but not Sherman Smith, Jim Zorn, Cornell Webster, Al Hunter, Sam McCullum, Steve Raible. Who KNEW one team was destined for GREATNESS and the other wouldn't make the Super Bowl for another 1/4 of a century, in fact, not until the NEXT century.
Autrey Beamon, I had his autograph too!. Oh, Steve Niehaus too.
Cornell Webster, my very FIRST Seahawk autograph, Nick Bebout my 2nd. and reserve Doug Long my 3rd.
Norris Weese, Gary Kubiak, just two of the back-ups that came in for their Star starters only to KICK our fannies. Stan Humphries came in for Dan Fouts a couple of times and cleaned our clocks.
I was at OJ's LAST game as a Bill in Seattle. He didn't play in our 56-? beating of Buffalo. Just my dad and I. A GREAT DAY for for us since my parents were divorced and I didn't see much of him. Seahawk football brought us together. Originally, dad was going to alternate between my older brother and me. Then, our Stepmother who had NEVER given two hoots about football, professional or otherwise suddenly demanded to attend MOST of the games leaving us the preseason and a couple of home games during the regular season.
This is unwatchable - that so-called "image stabilizer" ruins it completely.
The day Dan White did what so many of us were actually happy he did.
44 year later and I remember all those names just like it was yesterday. I was only 11 then, but I was glued to the tv each time they played. I was so pumped up on each play. I loved watching them more than anything in the world. I lived just down the interstate from old Fulton County Stadium and when I got my license I started going to games. It was so cheap back then and easy to get in and out of. I have not been to a game since the 80s. I still love watching them but from the comfort of my home. I am too far from the Benz stadium.
Back in the good old days of football And the much better pregame shows I miss those days
A game that for seeding meant nothing to Minnesota as they were locked in as the 3 seed in the NFC. Houston had to win in order to lock up a playoff spot
jack saw it gene washington set the stage for jerry rice! john brodie set the stage for 1981 joe montana
how about my name sake jack whitaker
an i am fan that team that lost to the 1980 dallas cowboys led by danny white.
LOL @ 1:15 Never allowed today under any circumstances! As well as a lot of those on the intro.
Do you know what I saw or should I say I didn’t see? anybody showboating I cannot watch any football anymore because every play everybody showboats every single play and I cannot take it and then they lose so makes them look stupid
Brent Musberger and Irv Cross… pre game shows haven’t been worth watching since those 2.
Clark Gaines beat game
The run by Andrews at 58:00 is so awesome I'm gonna write a play by play. 1st & 10 from own 24, Bartkowski swing pass right to Andrews 49ers SS Lott delivers hit at full speed and falls down Andrews shakes off hit by Lott and sprints forward, he is converged on by 5 other niners Shakes of another direct hit from 27 who also falls to the ground Andrews sprints forward again until finally being dragged down from behind at SF 30yd line by 21.. Tarkenton yells "OH MY GOD" one of the best runs in nfl history I have never seen before..a must watch
Women back then are so naturally beautiful. No fake crap... They haven't been poisoned by big pharma and the FDA...
This was the last Raiders game I attended before they left for Los Angeles. I remember the excitement of the day and the score was burnished in my memory. What a great stadium for sporting events.
Greg Landry was my favorite player at this time. I loved to watch him run the football. RIP Greg
This is the first game I actually remember. My dad, granddad, and a couple of the guys from the Union Hall at our house.
