It definitely should. I get compliments on it often because of how clean the sound is compared to other ones in my area.

Just doing a y pipe wont change the tone of the exhaust much or give too much of a bump in power if you still have the rest of the exhaust factory. Id say get the whole exhaust done at once. I know parts more and more expensive these days.

As far as i know they stopped making downpipes. I went with boosted 6 autowerks resonated lower downpipes pipes and they e been great

@@czxeri3298 can hit him up on instagram. Only other company to do resonated lowers is aam competition and they were about $300 more than his and fitment was perfect.

Nice! I get tons of compliments on this setup since most people in my area with a Q make them obnoxiously loud and sound horrible.

@@alex82alvarez i was originally going to go with those but being my daily i really wanted to try and keep rasp and drone down so thats why i went with resonated lowers

Cars honestly mostly stock. Only other mod is JB4 running map 6. As for wheels and tires they are factory red sport wheels and factory tire size. Come tax season ill be doing more and ive got a list of parts i want to do lol

@@anthonys6657 yeah you’re close. I live in dunedin/clearwater area. I work at a shop in safety harbor called Duane’s Dealer Alternative. Had the lower downpipes and cat back shipped to the shop and put it on myself with some help over a weekend when we were closed.

@@hited7195 all good man, yes i have the two primary cats but got rid of the super restrictive secondary cats (lower downpipes). The lower downpipes i have actually have resonators to help keep rasp down

@@littleredsport5806 gotcha.do you know how the sound would be like if it's just the resonated ldp with stock exhaust on a q50rs? I tried to find sound clip of the resonator you use but it's kinda hard to find

@@hited7195 it would give it a bit more sound but only slightly louder than stock. The secondary cats and the rest of the exhaust system is very very restrictive. If you want to do a setup that gives some sound but not overly loud id say the same resonated downpipes and then the exhaust by invidia

The 3.7 is definitely a phenomenal engine and sounds great with a proper exhaust but i also like these 3.0t they sound good as well with a proper exhaust

Was the only time he touched part of the car and i cleaned it up right after. Was my dad helping me so not gonna bark at him for it lol Cars ceramic coated too and i always keep the interior clean with the leather conditioned and protected 👍

I had planned on doing just the exhaust first but ended up getting the downpipes at the same time and was just too impatient to not do both at once. Id imagine it be a bit deeper tone and quieter.

I’m on the fence on getting this exhaust system. Was looking to see if afe y pipe exhaust system would fit a q50 3.7 2015 but it doesn’t or was never tested .Any difference while having this setup?

Was definitely best sounding setup, id get compliments often about how good it sounded, looked and ran. Sadly the car was totaled two months ago because of someone else’s stupidity and incompetence. Going to be getting a Q50 next

Yeah this was my buddies 4.6 and we had another friend who had the 5.0 r spec and its a whole other animal especially since it had the 8 speed in it.
