I am a Cambodian and I do not like nonsense or any information that is not factual and you appear to be a decent person from England and broadminded and very friendly so to say hello and welcome you to Cambodia I am going to share with you about Angkor Wat the fact of which even the Majority of the Cambodians are not privy to and/or ignorant of, since after the collapse of The Hindu Khmer Civilisation and Culture called Angkorian (all names and words here used are modern to simplify the telling) in 1431 destroyed utterly and completely by the Thais (Thailand) and soon after Cambodia brought Buddhism from Thailand and adopted as their own national religion to replace the Hindu one ever since to today... While the Cambodians are proud of their Hindu & Buddhist Cultures, but they are completely ignorant of the Hindu former one and almost none can read or speak Vedic Sanskrit... Now here is the juicy part of the tale - Angkor Wat is one of the 2 great Khmer Vedic Sanskrit Books of Cambodia that can be read like normal book if you know Vedic Sanskrit of pure sound (not written) Language of Brahmanism-Hinduism - to wet your appetite I allow myself to reveal to you a chapter or two of its pages : The Sun Calendar which gives an accurate 365+1/4 days year, 4 accurate cardinal directions plus the accurate 4 seasons of 2 Equinoxes + 2 Solstices (while the Buddhists to today still using the complicated Moon Calendar - And one more of its secret that the Cambodians are ignorant of it is that the Thais who are also Buddhists and Ignorant of the Angkorian Wisdom will not be able to replicate and copy Angkor Wat in Thailand - unknown to both people that they are fighting not over the Khmer Culture but the Tourist Money and both countries have invested a lot of money to attract the Tourists which fact you were right in assuming so...

Hi Ginge! Battambong was where I grew up. We used to live right across the street from the courthouse, literally. One block from the riverside. It was beautiful. We went and swam in the river countless times. There were huge trees lined the streets all the way to the river. Thanks for sharing! Beautiful videography too 😊

I guess i would be open to a relationship with a western guy , similar age bracket but the chances of that occurring are very slim indeed . With Siem Reap being such a small community of disparate Expats it's best to be anonymous . Its good i like my own company

I’ve lived in and dated women Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines and now in Cambodia. My policy is not to date any more, at my age 66 it’s not my priority. I feel comfortable being on my own and alone. Dating for me is overrated, causes to much stress and the cultural difference is to extreme to have a real and meaningful relationship. My happiness and content comes from within.
