The Great Storm October 1987 Thames News 161087
Unfortunately missing the opening minute, this is the Thames News evening broadcast from the day after the storm. The Friday programme was always a shorter 15 minute bulletin due to the handover to LWT at 6.15 and even a major news event like this could not circumvent such contractual requirements.

Film 92 Barry Norman interviews BBFC Director James Ferman

James Ferman was notorious, especially in his later years as BBFC director, for his paranoid censorship of film violence, although he always came across as calm and rational when interviewed, helped in this instance by Barry Norman's even more prudish attitude towards film violence.

Dave Allen BBC1 1990 Show 1

The first show of Dave Allen's BBC1 series broadcast in January 1990, infamous for the complaints that resulted from his swearing, particularly his blurting of the F-word near the end, something which was generally unacceptable on BBC1 at the time. Sorry about the grainy quality, this was due to poor TV reception.
