While you’re there. you should put on a thin head gasket. And add a flat top piston. The head gasket is about six or seven dollars. Piston is around $20. Add a little copper coat or gasket glue to the head gasket to help it seal. Then port the cylinder head. The valves will be out since you’re replacing the springs. The head will be off since you’re replacing the piston and Rod. It’s mostly just the valve pocket and guide boss. In the cylinder head that need work. Smooth out and open up the transitions in the pocket to the port. You don’t need to hog the port itself out. You will see noticeable gains in performance. Quality Dremel style tool can get the job done. If you can afford it, rotary files on an angle grinder. Will get the job done very quickly. It’s a fun process and it’s free, not counting the tools.
only question do you still have a stator working !!! since I wanna run lights stock with a 22mm chinese carb added. I want a better cam for a 212cc power point engine !!! I alreadt spin 6500 rpm stock build !!! and what springs next !!! I might have to run washers in my exhaust for the pop pop and power output after !!! if anything run a washer 5.3/4 off the motor if you want more power and add more washer's at the hot point's and have the pop pop in the end !!! I run fully stock at 6500 rpm on pro point and power fist engine's 212cc motor's !!! and a better plug also !!! I am doing a custom quad with the pro point system !!! I am redoing jets right now since I belive I over did my stock jet !!! but runs like a dream after warmed upped but am missing power at 40km/h mark instead of 70 km/h. did I mess my jets up or do I need a bettar cam. if cam which should I go for next !!! all stock besides carb and exhasut !!!
Yeah, with the stage 2 that I have installed it got me an extra 12 mph, it came with a billet rod, and flywheel, 22ibs springs, and a .265 cam, now I didn't have a tuned carb so I'm sure it would have been faster. Now the recommended springs for a cruiser try and get 26ibs springs. Now I have a 48 tooth rear and 10 tooth front, I will be buying a new carb, and a 14tooth front clutch for more speed and acceleration. Good video 👍
That flywheel does NOT fit the taper on either predator 212, no matter what someone told you 😅
@NubsWithGuns my buddy has it on his bike and it works
@TheWreckless212 That's nice, but it still doesn't fit the taper and isn't a good idea.
You're gonna need a plus .020 rod for that predator. If you want a flush deck height 6256 I believe.

@@lechkenassh9008 you will need a cam to unlock that high speed
Cheap stamped ratio rockers can add a little lift. Giving you small gain in performance.
