do you have part numbers for hydraulic filters and fuel filters ?
Dipstick location?
If your sitting in the seat , its on the right side of the engine behind the loader frame
I'm looking at the workmaster 120. This is the same tractor just hp difference. I get to see it in action. Great content.
The 120 will be a good choice, i love the 105 tractor
that oil jug looks suspiciously similar to Rotella T5 :P
I have a New Holland Tc45da with a cab and am having similar issues with starting. When turning my key on the pto light says it’s engaged, i tap it backwards and tractor will usually start. BUT….. Not every time and i end up blowing a 15 amp fuse almost in same location under key ignition. Could it be the wiring from the pto safety switch to the fuse box? Also, if it’s warm outside , it usually fires up. Thoughts? Thanks for any help you can give!!!
What’s the part number for fuel filter and hydraulic oil filter ? Workmaster 60
Looking for water separator on my workmaster 70? Any help?
The Workmaster does not have a water separator bowl you just have to change the fuel filters
Thanks for posting this! Got mine fixed with your help!
Glad I could help!
Good video. what are the part numbers for filter?
Engine oil filter is 51575943
Go with a kubota or krone....definitely stay away from new holland.....too heavy and very poor design
@@danielthomason5685 I ended up buying a new Hollander duradisc 109m last fall , I have ran it last fall and all this year and so far are am loving it , it is a heavy mower but I have it mounted on a caddy and the caddy handles the mower very well . Kubota wouldn’t make a deal with me on one of their mowers and I don’t have a krone dealer anywhere within 150 miles
Heddings Farm TH-cam
What did you make your monitor hot off of inside the cab. Got the same tractor and monitor. But couldn't figure out how to get a wire ran from battery to inside cab with any holes. Thanks
We ran ours direct from the battery to the inside of the cab
OK thank you
The one I have is a bugger to hook to the tractor!
I am stuck in low range and cannot shift out of it. I am stopped, have the clutch in and it just wo t shift
I just had the same problem, my New Holland TC40D. All I had to do was replace a 20 amp fuse behind my gauge. Cluster.
My kuhn mgd 600 has a stand built into it
I believe Kuhn eventually started putting stands on them on the newer mowers
@@dakotafarmshayandcattle1865 mines a 2001
@@dakotafarmshayandcattle1865 your mower has a stand ok, the bar under the ram drops in to hit the gearbox !
I can't find my fuse box on a NH tt60a...
I’m not sure where the fuse box is on a tt60a
I have a workmaster 70 and im pretty sure theres only 1 drain plug. Good video, theres surprisingly little info online about the workmaster 50,60, and 70
Year since this video, curious to know your thoughts now. And how's the noise on the highway?
I liked them , they were very quiet , I don’t recommend them if you are in any mud , they can handle light mud , no deep mud I have replaced them with mud claw comp MTX as needed a more aggressive tire for muddy hayfields and field roads while pulling trailers
Same situation I found myself in today, the right rear taillight assembly is the culprit for me. Blew two 10a fuses, replaced it with 15a (all I had left) got it to the barn and the taillight assembly was smoking. Ta-da, hope this helps!
So far my tractor hasn’t had anymore issues since that day I hope it stays good for a long time
Love this time of year
I love this time of year too
Good video! I bought this exact caddy after you reviewed yours last year. I love it! It's on an old 275 John Deere 9' disc mower. I actually did not look forward to cutting hay just because the mower was so hard to hook up and unhook! Now, I love mowing hay.
Those caddy make life much easier , you can also hook them up to your truck and pull it to the field if you have a field a distance away from your farm
At least I'm not the only one who cusses hooking up the disk mower. I have a Frontier I cuss.
Nice job. Good luck
Thanks!
Great video. I have no use for a caddy like this, yet I really enjoyed the video. Well done! When you go to lengthen that pull rope, may I suggest you add a small rope pulley to that steel rope loop (at the 2:00 mark). It'll make it pull a whole lot smoother and easier, plus it'll extend the life of the rope quite a bit. Just a thought. That caddy looks to be one quality built piece of equipment. Thanks for sharing. Be well.
I will look into putting a rope pulley on the caddy , so far I am enjoying it
Our first Wheel Rake was a New Holland, The third year we sold it and a Close friend bought 4 SiITREX 10 Wheel rakes in Crates off which we got rhe 2 red ones and he tool the 2 Green ones.... New Holland Rakes are Manufactored by Sitrex.... Only difference is Color....
My dealer told me that about the rakes when I bought mine
Being as we Row cropped Peanuts we were familar with Kelly Manufactoring Company, Diggers, lifters. and Combines, So we went with the 4760 model, We have from the 2nd year in the Commercial Hay had 3 Krone 320 Easy= cut disc mowers and 1 3200 trail..... At First ours had the Hydraulic option, buty we changed over to solid Mount... Your channel just popped up .....
I purchased a used KMA 4760 to hook to my Kuhn Cutter. Kelly says it works best with hydraulic option, however I found no supporting documentation of that. IT took two tractors with forks to hook up the dolly to the kuhn. I don't have any hydraulics hooked up to my Kuhn and if it doesn't work well I am going to sell it and move on to something else. BTW the hydraulic option is another 2K and you have to buy it from a dealer and not from Kelly. So I contacted the Kelly supplier near me and they told me that they don't support Kelly. I I then suggested they look at their own website and suddenly I was transfered to someone who knew all about my dolly. Looking at your Stony Point I think this would have been the better option for me. I think we are too far from Kelly over here in Texas. Anyone out there who operates a Khun cutter without the hydraulic option?
I absolutely love mine
That is really helpful to walk through. I'm going to look at a used Stony Point caddy this weekend. I am interested in saving the wear and tear on my tractor and avoid the pain of hooking that implement up. It is by far the dumbest engineered 3 point implement in terms of hook up!
I recommend getting a caddy if you use one tractor for multiple tasks , it’s much easier to hook and unhook and it pulls much better and more stable on hillsides . Only downside is you can’t turn at tight with the caddy as you can with the mower on the 3pt
So the question is why did the fuses blew?
I’m honestly not sure so far I have not had any more issues out of that tractor
The three pin plug is just 12volt auxiliary power
👍
Read the side wall 1+2+2 doesn't equal 10 ply
That tire doesn’t have 10 ply , the ratings in the cords inside the tires will be equivalent to 10 ply
I have these on my 2014 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD I can't find any reviews but yours I haven't had a problem with them and I plow with em
I believe they're load rating E, which is a more modern/universal way of measuring the tire durability than simply the ply number. They might not be 10 ply, but they should handle the same internal and external pressures as an OG 10-ply tire.
I bought a caddy just like yours. Getting excited to use my JD 275 9’ disc mower with this caddy. Great video!
I hope you enjoy it !
As far as mowers all I will use is a Kuhn. Do yourself a favor and Sit the bar on some 6x6 pieces of wood when you unhook. Get the bar off the ground.
Kuhn makes a very good mower , The mower in that video I no longer own last year I traded it in and bought a new holland mower while my Kuhn still had good trade in value . My new holland mower is sitting on some 4in thick concrete blocks to keep it off the ground
Don't forget there's 2 compartments on the hinge gearbox for oil
Ok , thanks for the info
Thank you! Just bought an older JD 275 and have to do this. Your video was most helpful!!
Glad it helped!
How often do you have to blownout the radiators to keep the AC cool? Have you ever had the hydraulic fluid overheat from running that baler all day?
It depends on how much you use the tractor in a day , I usually check them after every time I cut or bale I have never had the hydraulic fluid get hot or the engine get hot and I’ve baled in over 100* temps in the summer
@dakotafarmshayandcattle1865 nice. My 68hp LS runs my vermeer 504r well enough, but im having to blow out the radiators every 2 hours when baling to stop overheating. They really put some small radiators under the hood. Looking to get a workmaster 75, 90, or 120 depending on what deal I can get
We had a 75hp new holland and it was underpowered for some of the hills in my area and bought the 105 and love it Foshee equipment is where ours was bought from
Thanks man. Dealing with gelled fuel right now and im about to tear into it! No one makes videos for these dang tractors, new holland needs to step up their game and hire you !
I’m glad the videos helped you out , I know that gelled diesel can be a real pain
@dakotafarmshayandcattle1865 it was. But I got it running again, thanks again for making the video
You have a part number for that power shuttle filter? I'm having trouble finding it.
New holland part # 48195966
Would you mind telling me what the cost is of this?
It was around $5,000
Merry Christmas 🎄
I wonder how often he changes the dirt on the engine? 🤔
How are the tires holding up?
They are holding up great , , they are very stiff when aired up but they handle heavy weight great and give me peace of mind
I was just going to ask about a Krone when you just mentioned it :) .
I have read the nuts that hold the pods together can vibrate loose so if you ever take em apart it may be a good idea to loctite em. Hows that workmaster treating you? Did you add the optional lift cylinder on 3point?
Ok , good to know I’ll keep a eye on those bolts We love both our workmaster tractors , the big one has 335 hours on it and doing great No it came without the optional cylinder , I don’t have a need for it
Congrats on the new mower, looks like it's going to work well and hold up over time.
I hope it will hold up , used it today and it ran great
Congrats! That's the one I saw leaving Foshee's the other day - looks like Logan hooked you up. Looking forward to seeing how this thing serves you, we're going to be looking for a second cutter next year and have considered one.
I’m going to use it today for a few hours so you’ll see a video of it in action soon
I saw your new cutter leaving on a trailer yesterday not knowing it was yours until I saw the post on Instagram. Congrats on the new mower! We run a Vermeer M8050 and have good luck with it, but there's something to be said for having a local dealer to run to when you need a part quickly. We have to go to DeQueen from Murfreesboro to pick up parts for ours so I understand your concern regarding the Krone.
I'm thinking Kubota which I think is actually a Vicon. But probably another Kuhn which is a good mower too. Probably both be wrong and you'll go with New Holland! 😂
Krone is a really good mower
There isn’t a krone dealer close to where I live Kubota , new holland and Kuhn are within 50 miles Stay tuned I’ve bought a mower just waiting on delivery
How much was this?... i have a nh 6060. But i prefer yours. Too much electrics for me is more things to go wrong in the long run. Is yourd made in the USA?
I think ours was around 70k when we bought it last year but I would assume they have gone up a bit since then I believe ours it made in India
