I liked @MakersMuse video on the topic of Reuleaux tetrahedrons and @HexiBase videos about 3D printing speakers. So I combined those two things for you to enjoy.

This is really sick! If you ever do this again, might I suggest that the foil cards are the upgraded/smithed version of the cards?

How did you eliminate the disc drive?
Only 5 minutes in and I first started to think "why is this guy so slow and deliberate with his movements?" but then I realized I really like that cause I can see EXACTLY what you are doing. So many people just whiz through things and you have to pause and back up a million times to figure out what they did.
Can you fit a drive larger that 128gb?

That should've been Microsoft Xbox 20th Anniversary Edition. No money to be made from DLC and Micro-Transaction's that's the real reason why they'll never make a mini console.

I love this controller, but I'm very disappointed with the Bluetooth. It's very finicky across my devices, drops connection often, & almost requires the 8bitdo Bluetooth adapter to work on some devices.
Great video!! I'm starting to try and fix mine. I have a zune 30 that just didn't turn on one day about two years in... It wasnt due to a drop or anything.. so I'm starting with the battery first. Hoping that all it is. ❤

The mod you may want to do next is replacing the video out with an on board HDMI (they sell a kit that fits the hole). I saw the caps and GPU heatsink change and was like he switched boards!, then read your description lol.

I have a question: Why did you go for a 5v power supply, then step down to 3.3 and up to 12, rather than using a 12V supply and stepping down to 5 and 3.3? doesn't the buck converter generate a lot of heat?
The original Xbox is sort of odd and uses a lot of amps on the 5v line. Though it would be best to do what I did. I'm very much a layperson when it comes to electricity and electronics. What you see in the video is the extent to what I know.

the foil is a bit of overkill- you can also wrap paper bands around each pack. But more importantly - how are you going to play this?

Does anyone know if a dead battery would be the reason a zune won't show signs of life at all even when plugged in? I bought a zune that's cosmetically beautiful but it shows no signs of life
Maybe. Batteries are super cheap for the zune, so it's probably worth scratching it off the list

I had a quick question on this being a 1.6 motherboard and I see you only used 4 wires to connect as the power supply input and was just wondering on which points you put which power too I'm currently trying to make my own supply but cannot figure out with which points I need to be using and I would very much appreciate it very much and I'm not looking to steal your design or anything just tryna get my old one back to life

Oh uh there isn't a rule book. They are 1 to 1 with the in game cards. Think of the cards like a prop. I did see someone on the StS subreddit developed a game and I am aware of the board game but what I have made is unconnected to either project.

hey i got a zune player..my charger is borken ? that means i cant plug my usb inside my charger? it wont charge my battery? what to do? i bought new battery it i open up the zune player.. i switch the battery it works for a while the new battery is on low? i want to charge it fully but cant? my problem is my zune player wont let me charge the charger inside is broken? mine is same as yours...

Why everybody skips the dvd drive?
The DVD drives on the original xbox are terrible, aside from the samsung model which is hard to get. The lasers in them go out and they tend to have issues opening and closing as well. An a big win, you can install all games to the hard drive and never need a disk version of the games, which are increasing by the day. You could even add a second hard drive as well without it.
I wanted to see what hard drive you installed in it. SSD?
I believe it is a WD blue SSD
