SURF SHERPAS (2024)
A departure from traditional car content but I take channel literally and like to feature different things. This is my film-making debut, it's about my experience working as a surf instructor on Long Beach Island, NJ. It was featured in the Lighthouse International Film Festival 2024 so far all of my in person showings have been successes, enjoy via streaming!

Chill ass video… way to prepare the car for boost. I’m in the cafe chilling, wit dat dp… greetings from 2016. Finding a prepared chassis, fixing the engine, then boosting it with upgraded brakes and hydraulics would make a great project and car. Perfect for tuning. Maybe a supercharged system with a wastegate is the best for boost by gear, of maybe boost per RPM by gear?
hell yeah bro, I had been thinking supercharge but with turbos so ubiquitous now that may be the move
@@DalyDriverTV Well if you’re drifting it shouldn’t matter much… you’re going to be high RPM anyway, and you can just use a smaller turbo or supercharger. Keep me updated @
hi Daly Driver. i was just wondering.if you ever had this problem. i have a coolant leak that looks like it my be coming behind the water pump. But i put a new water pump in three years ago and new new thermostat AND New Metal Thermostat housing. but some say it could be the hard Line coolant hose that runs in to the Head. i put coolant Dye in and cannot see where the leak is coming From.i looked at the thermostat and water pump AND Can Not See Any Leaks From There. SO I AM guessing IT could be the hard line hose the runs into the front of the head. AND IT Just leaks out as soon as i put coolant in . i have a 1998 bmw 323is with 216000 that i owned since the year 2000 and nobody has ever but Me and the car Runs great . just can't see where this leak is coming from. IF YOU HAVE ANY IDEA Or had This Problem PLEASE LET ME NO. Thank YOU. And love your Videos. 9/1/24
Thanks for watching! Hard for me to say without being able to look at it but maybe it's the o ring on the hard coolant pipe that plugs in on like the backside of the water pump ares. I got a coolant rebuild kit and it came with that o ring, the tube was pretty stuck when I went to pull it out it must get pretty baked and stuck, may also leek if bad.

I often do like car details on my moms mini or minor service like diff fluid. One time I did his 90s bronco headliner. Thanks for watching!

Make sure you're on level ground and if you have a lift you need an adjustable Trac bar

Was your old fan blowing fuse 41? My aux fan isnt working and fuse 41 keeps blowing.
No blown fuse just poor cooling performance and I did the classic turn on the ac check for the fan to diagnose. Would make sense though.
there’s any way to get the lower pocket leather to sit flush?
That seemed a bit too tricky for me, good luck and report back! There's guys that just reupholster the whole thing too.
Dude i feel like you'd be able to help me fix my steering wheel. It's all gnarled up from my rings over the last 9 years. Is that something you have experience with?
Haha thanks for stumbling on this. You can get good stich on leather covers that use heavy wax thread. It's pretty easy and you can search your cars years for it. Alternatively, yes for my bmw and jeep I have put better condition whole used wheels on them but that's a bit more involved.

Since this vid I've had to do it like 4x. My latest repair I used the Dorman pigtail repair and went with a Mopar bmr part. You could limit your use of settings 2 and 3 on a cheap one to keep it going. Thanks for watching!

If I’m buying a car off someone with this do I get to take the POA form with me or just title and bill of sale??
I have always done this at an open title place I guess if you aren't you would need all three the POA needs to be notarized with the owners signature. The title place I've used was familiar with POA

If you're a cook it's kinda like corn starch in a stew, it's carbon nanotube powder it thickens it and strengthens it you can buy a jar from me on the link in the description, Tubo Fuerte!
Best upgrade I did to my e36 was swapping to a 1997 528i aluminum thermostat housing which has a bleeder screw aswell.

How to fix the soft opening or how it should work? Mine just drops open. I dont think its normal
I'm not sure yes there is a soft opening I think I greased the mechanism while I was in there. Worst case scenario just get a new salvage part

I was looking into getting an E36 how doable do you think most of the mechanical work is for someone who doesnt know much about bmws?
I wasn't a BMW guy before I got this, my first car I learned a bunch on is a Jeep XJ which you can also see a lot of on this channel. I chose it based on check boxes of no turbos, no awd, manual, no convertible. I was also looking at a purple 95 Mustang coupe and a Celica GT-S. I'm really glad I landed with the red e36, the m52 has a timing chain so no timing belts, the worst part is the cooling system. The canister style pump design with an o-ring is actually really easy to service. it's super common worldwide, it's probably the most common pre e46 bmw that makes it easier too with more guides and cheaper parts.
E36 is my favorite BMW chasis 👍🏻
Hello, can i ask you something? i have E36 318is i have to aux fan. one (the OEM) front of AC radiator and 2nd on main engine radiator. can i delete the 2nd fan and work the car only with the OEM aux fan without a clutch fan?
hello, thanks for visiting. The system works with both fans. The 90s are an era of both technologies, older cars had mechanical fans and newer just have electronic. My 90s jeep has both too. You can upgrade the electronic fan or add an additional one if you want to delete the mechanical one and clutch

That looks great. Mandrel bends! Walker and their crinkle bends. Yuck. I have looked forever and can't find one.
I found it on eBay, pretty cheap too I'll do the tailpipe soon I'm sure, subscribe to see more! I think the crinkle bends collect debris and salt and contribute to the rusting out. Smoother pathway with the mandrels too, it sounds great now!!

Charge yes, I'm not sure what kind of format the data connection is looking for. There's a flap covering USB and 3.5mm

dude!!! i have had a vert for MONTHS and have not known that the passenger doorcard has that screw in the handle. the handle has been loose for so long and after this video I was finally able to go ahead and tighten it. nice video!
