Jessica is great. The orchestra is terrible.
honestly such an icon !! You’re just amazing !! The way you are amazing at Val and completely SMASH this !! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻❤

So.... I was looking for dance classes at Steps and checking out the dance faculty. I have a very strange and interesting Karma to find randomly and synchronistically the most unbelievable talented people. But you were a true musical theatre prodigy! Wow....I'm so floored, and really touched as well. I hope that my path with cross yours when I'm in shape enough to try your class at Steps. Blessings.
Great dancing but SCREEEEECHY voices!
Wow!!!
Rosie!!!
Gorgeous dancer
Wow!! That’s flawless. I keep wondering what it must be like watching it live. A chorus line is certainly on my bucket list. Unfortunately, it’s not staged so often.
Astonishing! I first heard of Jessica from the “Every Little Step” documentary. There was one scene where one of the other dancers auditioning for Val was peeking thru the curtain watching Jessica and wondered who the blonde girl was that was dancing rings around everyone, and where had she come from. After seeing this montage it is no wonder she was selected for the Broadway Revival, and was able to play various roles so well. It is not hard to imagine she was the best dancer and performer in every cast she performed in growing up.
Excellent ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Perfecto!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank god this group was dedicated to doing all the original choreography and pulled it off almost flawlessly, unlike the 2010 Broadway revival of Promises, Promises, which failed miserably at doing some kind of alternate messed up version of "Turkey Lurkey Time".
Saw this show recently (regional) and have been searching ever since for a satisfying rendering of this number. I just found it! Wow! This lady had everything: power, beauty, sensuality, girlish femininity, excitement, a very relaxed freedom! She has that wonderful quality of all great artists: Being dangerously on the edge of out of control where it almost unravels, but not quite. Golly! Here you have Hamlish, in the middle of this show that is an homage to dancers, throwing down the gauntlet, saying to the dancer, "okay, Kid, let's see what you can do with THIS!" This lady answers. This is THE climax of the show, as far as I'm concerned, and the dressed chorus line finale is a second climax. This piece of music has everything a dancer could want: the speed, the scale, the power, the lyrical and the staccato punches, the drama, the chord changes, tempo changes, mood changes, that whole intimate-seductive section, and then bringing it back up. It's really its own ballet within the ballet, so to speak. Most people, who aren't performers, might think a piece of music this grand, epic and exciting is an aid to the performer. Well, yes and no. It's death if you can not meet it. It's magic if you can. But a piece of this magnitude few performers could meet and not be over-powered. This lady is one of the few I have seen who manages to fly on its wings. Kudos, Miss Goldyn! You are explosive. Is there a copy of the whole show with this cast? (This is special. I hope someone at least pirated it..)
Chills ❤
Fabulous. Did Cassie proud.
She was Awesome!!!
such an amazing job!! Loved all of it!
She’s amazing!!!
Absolutely amazing!
I could watch this all day
That’s a lot of practice. These people were really together no matter how much the cost savings in this minimalist production. Kudos. Great job.
That was F*cking insane!!!! Didn't realise you did this role too! You are incredible
I'm working on a project on chorus line for grad school and I've watched you do this number dozens of times (if not more) over the years but it never stops feeling exciting. I really hope you get to do it again somewhere for the 50th anniversary (it'll be here before we know it) though I know you can and should also do SO MANY OTHER THINGS. Love you, Miss Jessica.
This brought me to tears
What
Jessica’s dancing in Every Little Step was incredible. She was above and beyond. Definitely the most exciting to watch throughout and everyone knew it!
Yes! She's a standout.
This is one of the best versions of this number ever done. This actress is absolutely wonderful!!! 👍🤗❤
You’re an icon Jessica! My favorite music and the mirror! I’ve been watching this video for almost a decade, I’ll never not be impressed by the control you have over your hair!
A fantastic rendition…such a tough number! The energy starts at 100 and doesn’t let up for the rest of the song!
What is this from?
Ha I was wondering the same thing! Took me awhile to hear the lyrics/dialogue due to the fuzzy sound, but once I figured them out I searched and found that it's from "Young Frankenstein" (the musical). I would never have guessed it since there's no ship in the original film; the Elizabeth character leaves on a train instead. Anyway, it's another great job from Jessica. Hope she uploads more!
Hi jess take it from the top if you see this
It is gabriella peacock from the thing
I really do cry watching this. We dancers live in the most unimaginable a magical world of passion and thrill. I’ve never seen such an animal on stage connect with such a fitting and iconic solo in that respect.
Fucking. insane.
The guy really butchered the introduction. He didn't tell us that the Christmas Committee had asked the Idea Committee for an idea for the Christmas party. What a miss!
Yeah, its a shame but I think it was the microphone problem that caused him to forget his line, so he just paraphrased.
She’s second only to Mckechnie in my opinion
THIS is what Broadway is all about.
Goosebumps everytime I watch this.
Amazing! She commits to the character- there is a point in the dance where you can see Cassie losing herself to the music. Thank you for this beautiful performance!
probably the best m&tm i have ever seen
I have produced the show twice professionally. This actress/singer is extraordinarily talented. Thank you for a great performance of this very difficult number.
this song is imbued with crack
I never comment but this performance is hands down the very best I have EVER seen of this choreography. Absolutely brilliant Ms. Goldyn. If you ever have a down day or doubt your talent . . . watch this. Legendary. Brava!
that blue dress ain't doing Red any favors ... somebody shoulda had an honest talk with her about it
Still a favorite B'way moment - crushed it
I have to say Jessica has the right amount of sass, this is amazing entertainment at it's finest. I wonder when she sang dance 10 looks 3 all the way thru first time she laughed a lot, I'm almost positive. How the laughter from the audience didn't phase her. She's an awesome professional!
i just. 🥺
this video cured my depression
That was a fantastic performance I loved it!
Bravo!
So much better than the other two dancers who were up for this part. Just perfect for the role. Bob Avian knows what he's doing. :)
