Chaplain Randy Speed suffered a hemorrhagic stroke five years ago. After his stay in the ICU, he was transferred to inpatient physical therapy to learn to walk again. Environmental services (EVS) worker Sylvia Rios was assigned to clean Randy's room every day, but also offered daily words of encouragement.
