Most of the movie Rumata was searching for the great scientist who he was supposed to rescue and he knew he was intercepted. He found him hear the end in captivity and had a dialogue about how God cannot really rescue their society.

According to the book, Rumata was video streaming to satellites non stop, from his crystal he was wearing all the time. So it's definitely implied that people react to the drone camera following Rumata. They don't comprehend what it is, may be they think it's part of God company, like angel. And drone goes into masking mode near hostiles.

@@20thcenturygeek I'm watching the Nightmare on Elm Street series right now and plan on finishing the Halloween series next. I did rewatch the Alien series in prep for Romulus too. I've only listened to yall talk Alien so far and not sure how much yall like horror in general. there's a lot of horror franchises but also a lot of bad movies haha. all of the Scream movies are at least watchable. i wouldn't want to recommend anything that has a lot of bad movies. probably my favorite thing about listening to yall is the respectful disagreements and exploring why you each feel that way. oh and yall let each other talk. it can be boring hearing people agree on everything but it's also unbearable when people can't explain their point of view and just turn it into a childish argument. i actually want to be a part of the conversation with you guys.

My interpretation is Willoughby is the star's own interpretation of death. There are no ill intentions of the Willoughby and Sons company. And it isn't multidimensional. It is just a normal Mortuary company. And my guess a popular one. I think the main character while he knew the town of Willoughby didn't exist, he also did know the Willoughby Mortuary company. The main star was suicidal. He had a boss/job he didn't care for and a wife he didn't like. He wanted to escape his real life problems and Willoughby represented that.

Firstly, it's important to put aside the book from the movie. Unlike the dreadul _I Am Legend_ movie with Will Smith, _The Omega Man_ at least changes its name to let you know it's not going to be a faithful adaption of Richard Matheson's novel. Also, you have to bear in mind that vampires had become somewhat passé by the early 70's which explains the update of photophobic mutants. Lastly, this movie was way ahead of its time. By that I mean it's the exact sort of action hybrid that Arnold Schwarzenegger would've found himself appearing in almost 2 decades later. There's a reason why this movie is Tim Burton's favourite movie... he understands movies and YOU do not.

I dont get it, dont need to! but I dont remember satanic references to the british royalty or anything like that other than the locust looked like devils.
