Or a really good high quality recording of her before Ghost Love score. Because that was the argument I was making. And that even in live performances the recordings suck and as she sings better the recording takes a bigger hit. Are you all stuck on fucking stupid!? They are decent. There are some decent ones. I think the only really good one "which is only ok" is the Dreamflight I have on my page, one or two ReVamp ones, and the couple Omio/Final Fantasy ones.....The last of which only being good because it's her vocally alone...They are still pretty much suck. And the quality of their videos suck too. It's sad that the quality of this video is probably better for hearing her voice than some better ones.

Well, there are pretty good recordings of AF's gig at Pinkpop 2004. You can find the whole concert in YT.

Like wise. And you need speaker or headphones that excell in very high ranges to get a good feel of her true voice. Beats, monster, and most $20-$60 headphones don't cut it. The $30 Iron headphones I had did ok. Speakers are worse. You have to lay out big money for ones with an exceptional range. Most headphones and speakers only do bass.

It's more the fact her voice is too powerful. When it comes to live that's just being a little tired running around, sweating, and pouring your lungs out. It happens live too though. Especially with personal recordings. When she gets higher or louder it fades away behind everything else because it's too much. It's really sad that Ghost Love Score "aka Ghost Love Floor" live with Nightwish is the only high quality performance of her entire career since 1996 and it's not her band even.

About 3 1/2 Octaves. Also Emphasis, Between Love and Fire. Yeah the only problem is being a Dramatic Soprano gives her such a massive voice it tends to hurt the band. Especially in the soprano area. Dramatic's push such high decibels that most speakers and headphones just are not equipped. Especially in contrast to metal. As she gets louder her voice on speaker gets quieter. As she goes higher her voice on speaker gets more faded. You gotta pay good money for equipment or see her live to know.

Completely agree. Although Floor and Tarja are about on par in octaves. I'm gonna guess it's roughly 2 3/4 octave slide.

Dramatic, Coloratura, and Lyric are three different vocal types. Floor is Dramatic Soprano. A D6-possible E6 is about her top. Not quite sure what the actual top of that scale was, but it was pretty awesome. Wish we could hear it better.
