I love the Benelli supernova, great video I've watched it a few times 😅thanks for sharing
Great video , I shoot a supernova and love it best pump action for my money 😅thanks for sharing
Thanks! I think it’s a great gun too!
Next time shoot bravo Charlie true pair or Alfa Charlie true pair.
Those are my favorite
Hey! At first, thanks for your Videos! Second, i have a question 😅. What Vest are you wearing in the Videos? Would b nice if you could tell. Currently searching for one.
Hey! thanks for watching. It’s a Beretta branded one, but it’s several years old. Good luck in your search!
I'll probably never own another pump gun in my life, other than my Shockwave.
Your music is sick - love it
Nice shotkam vids 🎉
Enjoyed this vid. Subscribed!
Kudos for shooting both of them well back to back. When I go from my a400 to my o/u I have to remember that my leads are different. Well done video.
Enjoyed the video. Nice to show you don't need a 694 level gun to start your clay shooting journey. I started out with a Franchi Affinity before getting an O/U.
Glad you enjoyed the video!
Nice video
The 694 must not fit you if you feel it has more recoil than a light nova. Shouldn’t even be close if the 694 fitted you correctly. Obviously you are a competitive shooter wearing Pillas, as so, would you really recommend a cheap pump like that to start sporting clays? Seems irresponsible to me but that is just my opinion. If someone all ready had one then sure go give it a bang, but recommending one for sporting clays? nah bro.
I'm just starting out and multiple instructors in TX who have serious competitions under their belt seem to recommend starting with a semi auto as it is lighter, has less recoil, and is less expensive to start out with. Maybe that's a recent trend? I still would prefer to get an O/U as it feels more "true" to the sport and it just plain looks and feels cooler.
Yes I agree, if you want to start shooting clays a semi is a very good option both to start or to stick with. A lot of very serious clay shooters choose semi’s usually a A400 and prefer them over a O/U. Most important thing is to get time behind whatever gun you can afford to shoot regularly. Even if it’s a pump 😉
clearly you missed the point of getting out there and enjoying shooting sporting clays getting blinded by the fact his personal opinion bothers you. it’s not like he recommended taking and handgun out to shoot sporting clays. guess he can’t enjoy his pillas if he’s giving out bad advice by taking a pump gun out to shoot clays from the sky.
Yea, I don't think he recommended it as the best option but rather not letting the fact that you don't have an over under be a barrier to you getting out and shooting.
nice video, subbed! 😎👍
Appreciate the honesty in this video.
Thanks for posting that! Very enjoyable. You shoot both guns well and look at one with them both. Out of curiosity, what pump was that?
Glad you enjoyed the video, pump is a Benelli Supernova.
Cool video and comparison!! I shoot a variety of shotguns for clays. Both O/U and semi's in 12, 20, 28, and 410. I have a number of pumps, but the only time I use them is hunting and occasionally singles trap. I tend to shoot clays rather quick and a pump just throws my timing off.
Thanks. Pumps definitely add another challenge especially when trying to shoot complex pairs.
I’ve never subscribed to a channel but today I did. Love it!!!!
Great video! Keep them coming.
Pump vs o/u is up next
694 is a great gun. Station 4&5 is my favourite
694 has treated me well, 11 is my favourite stand
Which lens do you use? 1:22
RF 28-70
Excelente video. Eu sou português. Grande atirador. Em que estado é esse campo de tiro? Prática quantas vezes por mês? Como funciona aí o campo? Cumprimentos
Thanks for watching, I try to shoot once a week. Club is Galt Sportsman Club.
Turn the sound off bit of commentary would’ve been nice
That title hit me in the heart. I had the same experience with beretta o/u. Got a silver pigeon and sold it. Then got a used 682 gold e and sold it. I love my browning citori cx o/u in 12 ga and my 725 in 20. Something about a beretta o/u that did not click with me. As for beretta semi autos, I love my A300 and my A400. I have no scientific explanation but it is all a personal preference
It is all about finding the right gun that fits you!
@ that is right but people associate fitting as mostly controlled by the interface between the stock and the shoulder. I think it goes beyond that relationship. Both my berettas o/u had adjustable check pad and recoil pads. Still I could not click with the gun as I do with my brownings that have regular factory stocks.
Jesus, that foliage makes it hard to see the birds!
Agreed, the hardest of the day was picking up the 2 bird at 1:24
Your Videos need more attention!!
sick
Keep them coming. 👍
Nice
Love the music
Nice shooting!! Wonder when we are going to be back there for competition again???
I think we will be up and running again for next year 🤞
@trigrdoutdoors I hope so. I enjoy there a lot . I am always in Oshawa club but I love the scenery there !!! 🤞
Just found your channel and now a new subscriber. Keep the vid coming, love it. I live in London and was a member at Crumblin Sportsman Association for a long time. Mainly shot skeet. I gave up shooting after the long gun registry, but recently retired and thinking about getting back into it. Just went through my pal course. Will probably join Crumblin again and start shooting, but I am interested in your facility. I see there’s a waiting list to shoot sporting clays. Is there a guesstimate time length one might wait because I would probably join yours as well.
Hey, thanks for the sub! Galt is a great club, especially if you are interested in clays. Intake is currently closed i believe…worth a call or email to see if you can get on the wait list.
Woww - I was having fun watching the video as this is exactly how I enjoy shooting sporting clay with my best buddy just like you and Chris.. I forwarded the link to my buddy as I was watching the video and told him to watch these two guys having fun just like us. Then boom, the message at the end of the video hit me on the head.. RIP Chris.. i can not imagine how you feel.. My deepest condolences.
Nice channel - cool fun videos. You earned a new subscriber. I enjoy watching other people techniques thru the shotkam as it gives me more of a visual guide.
Awesome, thank you!
Beautiful
I finally watched it. Thank you for capturing this. The end was hard to watch but thank you for loving him like I do. We all miss him so much ❤️🩹
What gun is Cris shooting with? One tip for Shotkam videos: use editing software with image stabilization. The software will stabilize the image and the red aiming point will be shaking in the video.
Thanks, I’ll give it a shot
Chris is using a Condor
@@trigrdoutdoors It is very similar to a Brazilian Boito shotgun
I thought he was shooting a russian Baikal IZ28
Great video, he is missed.
Thank you for this. Going to be a tough watch but I'm happy you've made this video.
Wow. So sorry for your loss, was not expecting that at the end...
Hey love your content and have enjoyed your shooting matches with Chris. Sorry for your loss
Amazing tribute! Thanks Paul!
Loving this clay challenge series. Well filmed/produced, entertaining to watch. Banter between friends showing why sporting clays can be so much fun. 👍
