Runway 06L/24R - the northern asphalt runway of BER is the southern runway of the old Schönefeld Airport and has been in use since the 1960s. To adapt it for the new airport, it has been renovated and lengthened from 3,000 to 3,600 metres (9,800 to 12,000 ft).
The newly built concrete southern runway 06R/24L has a length of 4,000 metres (13,000 ft) and was officially commissioned on 31 May 2012.

I dont think so, but there are headphones onboard you can use
Ach, I'm landing there in a few weeks, have chosen a seat on the left side of the plane, and I bet knowing my luck we'll get this runway! Bugger.....
The bridge is on the right side when using this Runway. However this runway is very seldom used, When landing on the normal runway the bridge will be on the left side, but in a bigger distance. Sometimes you also land from the west and then you cannot see the bridge, but you will then have a view to Copenhagen.

Hej wnielsen :-D Kan du anbefale Air China efter denne tur / video ? Påtænker en tur fra Cph - Bkk til efteråret 2024 mvh.
Jeg var meget tilfreds. Det er en A350-900 som flere andre selskaber også benytter. Der var fin benplads og Entertainment systemet var omfattende og man kunne hele tiden følge med i hvor på ruten man var. Flytiden til Beijing var kun lidt over 8 timer, så man skal ikke sidde så længe i flyet som på andre ruter.
