Maiden of the depron model built from scrach. It fly well, very stable and easy to fly even for a neewby pilot. At the maiden we hadnt tryed thrust vectoring becuse the motor was a little undersized, a new video had to come with a better motor and full thrust vectoring. Macchina acquistata a gennaio 2007, già da subito ha messo in chiaro la sua affidabilità, con un bullone che rotolava allegramente dentro il cruscotto. Per due volte in autostrada è morto l' impianto elettrico e si è spento il motore, lasciandomi di notte a macchina morta, senza luci di emergenza e senza servosterzo. In otto mesi ho cambiato due scatole dello sterzo, e la potenza della macchina...

This + twin Vector EDF = INSANE
This only goes to shows that the original designer of the VF-19 Excalibur knew what they were doing. I had no doubt it could fly in real life.
There are some modifications needed for a stabile flight, like the canard and main wings proportions and the control surfaces, the original design was a very good starting point

how channels??
It fly well with 4 channels (1motor, 2 alerons, 1 elevator) For full control it need 2 more channels for canards and 2 for elevator (vectored thrust)
For both a Macross fan (especially Plus) and an RC enthusiast since childhood, this is pure porn :)

Se è per questo nel film la macchina passa da rottame a nuova fiammante, l' opposto di quel che è successo a quel pezzo di materia fecale su ruote che purtroppo ho comprato.

Comprata in preordine, esteticamente mi piaceva è che poi si è rivelata un catorcio pieno di problemi e sopratutto il motore era un polmone terrificante
