Maalhos is one of the inhabited islands of Baa Atoll in the Maldives. It is located in the only UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and it's just a couple of minutes away from the nearby Hanifaru Bay knowns their abundant marine life. The beautiful island is famous for its white sand beaches fringed coconut trees, crystal clear waters and hospitality of local people.
Accessible by domestic flights and speed boats from capital of Malé the island is suited for budget trips by tourists that would like to get to know the local culture and way of Maldivian life.

Hello. Honestly, I haven't checked the prices of souvenirs on this island, but in general, the prices on all local islands in Maldives are quite good and affordable.

You don't need a permission to fly but you have to be careful when you are flying because the seaplanes are flying very low.

Hi. We saw the turtle, the octopus and the rays at the back side of the island between the water villas and the jetty. There is the area for snorkelling. Enjoy your stay !
