My backyard, I run the Ebike on these, job job riding the Amish bikes on this trail!

I went there this weekend on a rigid single speed, definitely lots of fun and doable. It seemed busy on the weekend. I’ll be checking it out on the week day. You can’t go wrong there 🤙🏽

Damn I’m always impressed when I see people still riding out in this heat. Did you shuttle back to your car or did you have to ride back up the trail?

Nice preview video! There is another pre-ride out there this weekend on both Saturday and Sunday. Bear Jaw Events has some exciting new things planned including a new race team to support both cyclists and runners of all abilities!!

just go to down under and then sunset. or start at shultz tank and ride up lower sunset, you can do that twice. much better than the road.

Overall I think that even if Mammoth has a lot of great blue trails, for an intermediate rider, it is pretty impossible using them all because it requires travbersing some black section, that you might not be ready for Also Midtown is not bad at all But, this is anyway the best overview I saw around, thanks

I’ve tried to find this place a couple times but my GPS takes me on a wild goose chase. I’m from Phoenix any tips to find it would be much appreciated. It should be easy to find . I drive into Prescott and take a left on maybe Montezuma which takes up into a beautiful mountain area which I’ve ended up going for a couple nice hikes . Any tips to find it will be greatly appreciated.

was up there a few weeks ago and had a blast. its excellent. cant wait to go back. the only one i didn't do was "cool beans" that wraps around the backside of the mtn. i think my favorite was magic bean. but there all good

I am looking to ride this trail this week as an out and back..is it 6.6 miles one way to see canyon th? How challenging is it in reverse?

It’s only decent if you start at See Canyon and climb up on an ebike. Takes to long to reset the shuttle vehicles.

Thanks for sharing. I think I rode this same route last October during the Highline Hold'em event (a shuttle ride to the start was included). The sustained downhill section - although relatively brief - was super fun. Also, the Landmark restaurant is a great place to conclude a ride. This made me want to ride it again.

Man that trail for beginners is a beast of a trail with those inclines. It really takes a toll on the lungs. Buddy and I did the Highline trail ride 3yrs back for an event and it got us breathing pretty dang hard. About half way through my lungs got used to the constant elevation changes. I did wipe out and messed up my stumpjumper a bit but it still good to ride. Need to replace the rear derailleur.

The trails you did not explore do not require an uphill pedal. All of them run into Juniper. You can exit Junioer on Lake Mary Road and take that downhill to the Village shuttle. You only need to uphill pedal if you go all the way to Eagle Base. And to note, it's a pretty easy uphill pedal to the Village anyway. We typically park at Eagle and start the morning pedaling up to the Village and the shuttle. The. End the day with an either descent on Junioer to the car OR connect with trails outside the park that finishes off near Vons.

It’s super annoying when people decide to have a Sunday cruise on the trails. Makes it impossible for anyone else to actually maintain enough speed to hit the jumps and features. Of course when ya try an pass the Sunday cruisers they get all upset about it. If you’re not gonna even try to ride for real then stay home. I’d never be upset if someone was actually trying but was slow cuz I guarantee that person will be shredding pretty quick.
