I have a 2011 etios (the indian version of the yaris) back in 2011 the top trim was just tad below 10000$. For that price it is a very good car. 1.5l petrol with no vvti so it requires very little maintenance. Yearly maintenance is basically just oil changes. These days 10000$ cars here have no power or features because of the euro 6 emission norms & structural safety requirements car makers have no money to spare for slightly more power. Or features
