Currious thing about living in Niagara Falls is that your nose tingles. This could be an effect a high voltage leak into the water at the generator. Just like a whimshurst machine or Vandergraph generator that makes you hair stand up when you touch the sphere, Niagara Falls charges every one with some sort of leak voltage from the hydroplants. You can smell the ozone rarely in the Dufferine Island area. So a lot of people go around rubbing the ball of the nose because they feel the discharge. Another thing, the incidence of cancer in Niagara Falls is very high and it could be because near the falls, the mist, hold the discharge from every river emptying into the Great Lakes. You will breath that every day, winter and summer so....nice place to visit, good place to retire.

Do not move here unless you have at least $660K to buy in a small townhhouse/condo market. Weekends here are hell; wall to wall people and tourist prices. Welland is a much more affordable option and only a few minutes away. Economy here caters to U.S. dollar so beware.
