Deepak Tirkey, a singer-songwriter from Ranchi, Jharkhand, gained fame as the 2008 winner of Chak De Bachche at the age of 11 and as the 2013 top 10 in Bharat Ki Shaan.
Mentored by renowned Indian musicians like Manoj Tiwari, Salim-Sulaiman, and others, Deepak's triumphs in reality singing competitions and his small-town roots led to a devoted fan base. However, the overwhelming demand for live shows took a toll on his vocal cords in 2015, necessitating a break for recovery.
In 2022, Deepak returned to the music scene, unveiling 3 hit singles: "Sajni Mor," "Hum To Lut Gaye," & "Chahbun Toke," amassing millions of views and streams on platforms like TH-cam and Spotify. He aims to reshape Jharkhand's music scene by infusing native languages like Sadri and Kurukh with Bollywood, classical, and pop influences, crafting a modern and distinctive sound.
