I was sitting out on my back deck in the dark all alone as the evening moon shining out, listening to my radio glowing in the light of a carnosine lamp and getting stoned when this song came on. I loved what this song says, and it really hit home how lucky I am that I lost my wife but to own my own home and to know what will happen will be all right. I wish I could have had the opportunity to record this song. Thanks so much for this song!

Back in the 1970s I got into a band called Pentangle. They did a great song attributed to the Carter Family called "Will the circle be unbroken". I didn't hear the original but I wasn't too bothered, noone could do it better than Pentangle. Then with TH-cam I could get to hear the original, and then I realised it was "as good as" the Pentangle version - not something easy to get my head around. Anyway ever since then I have become obsessed with the Carter Family, now one of my favourite bands.

I got into a small accident a few weeks ago, didn't think much of it. Swerved to avoid and jumped a curb. Seemed like only cosmetic damage. Just before going on a 2 hour drive on the highway, I decided to check my tire pressures at random. The front right tire had a bulge in it from where the curb had damaged it on the inside. It most likely would have burst on the drive. So I take a stressful drive to our ranch in my mom's suv that I'd never driven before, through Thanksgiving traffic. Get to the ranch and disconnect my phone from Bluetooth just before the gate and out of all the songs that could have been playing on the radio, it was this one.

1st time I heard this song was this year in 2023. when my youngest son 37 had a bad bicycle accident that left him a Quadriplegic! He had been on drugs 4 many years. The monkey jumped off his back just that quick. It really ministered 2 us both!! He's been clean 5 months! Thank U Jesus! & his name is David Lee as well! I don't even listen to Country anymore. I used to a lot in the late 90s early 2000 but I just stopped listening to it over the years. Today when I got in my car my radio was on a country station and this song was playing. My mama passed away almost 9 months ago her 66 birthday was on the 6th of this month September and she loved country music. I truly believe she is with me everyday. I found out I am pregnant last month Aug 2 days before my 43rd birthday. I was told 13 years ago I would never have my own children due to health problems with my reproductive organs. I know my mom would be so happy she was going to be a grandma! She always said she loved her grandchildren with fur because I've always had cats! Lol! I truly believe our loved ones in the spirit world are around us and guide us through this crazy roller coaster we call life. Literally sitting in my car crying to this amazing country song right now because I miss her so much, but everything is going to be alright. We have grief because of love. I feel we never truly get over the loss when a loved passes away. We just have to learn to live our life with out them in it physically but we keep them alive with the memories we share and never forgetting about them! Every thing is going to be alright! It is ! 🩷
