Some people say you can't shoot 40 grain 22 caliber slugs what's the 600 mm panthera? I don't see why not perhaps you need to modify it for more power?

I ordered a 22 caliber FX panthera 600 mm barrel. If you're shooting 40 grain slugs at 1040 FPS you're going to get about 96 FPE out of the gun with the 700 mm. How much FPE would you lose using the 600 mm Barrel? The estimated shot count I think is around 30 to 40 shots what's a 40 grain 22 caliber. Have you experimented with this?

In germany we can have only 7.5 jouls energy on free guns. I just set up my diana bandit. My measurments shows cylinder capacity of 30cc without reg and 22,5cc with huma reg and short 21mm plenum installed. I now get 45 shots or 5 magazines with consistent 175-177m/s for 7,5jouls with light jsb exact rs pellet in .177 and regulator set to 70bar.

Beside stiffer spring or more preload to close the valve faster you can put some kind of washer on a valve stem spring seat in front of valve spring it gives preload and some kind of parashute effect to the valve so the air and pressure itself can close the valve faster.

I ordered an fx Panthera 22 caliber. Some people are skeptical of the shot count FX is putting out. Maybe it's a misprint. This is what they say using the 600 mm barrel. (22) 80 shots I with 22 gr hybrid Islug at 900 fps 16.35 (.25) 60 shots I with 26 or hybrid slug at 900 fps 17.62 (.30) 35 shots I with 44.5 ac hybrid Islug at 900 fps.

What kind of bullet drop are you experiencing with these distances? How do you like the marks on that reticle for your hold-over?

Thank you for sharing. I love the world of pcp air rifles and the community behind them. People like you make it a hobby worth investing in. I am trying to come up with a way to free float the hammer on my new beeman chief 2 plus (3000psi version). It's a tack drive I get almost all of my shots touching eachother at 25 yards but like you, I want to make it more efficient. If anyone knows a spring I can use that's shorter or a way I can keep my current power level and eliminate hammer bounce I would greatly appreciate the help.

U finally started selling ur slugs to all 50 states. Nice. If or when you put them boattails up, I saw u slinging about a year ago. I'll have to grab some. I installed the tungsten hammer in my .30 Dynamic and was able to get the reg past 130 bar. I got my reg at 165 bar now pushing 70 grain slugs at 1000 fps for about 155 fpe. Love that gun. Anyway, enough of my rambling. Great video, and I'll be looking out for future uploads and them bt slugs. 😂

What purpose is painting?

Each copy of the model 880 may shoot these same pellets and slugs differently. But here, as examples (yes 3 in a group is not a good lot) show of some heavier pellets and especially slugs that I didn’t know about. The 880 has shallow rifling and perhaps needs something that fits tighter than the run of the mill (loose tolerances and lower quality) pellets that have market prevalence. Alas, most shooters are really after the fun of plinking and frankly any of these will suffice - just choose the max distance and pick a pellet from those easily found. Concentrate on proper shooting skills and you’ll have fun for years. For those who want accuracy, you get an idea here. Meanwhile, I have hundreds, if not a thousand or so, pellets to send downrange - before really getting yet more. There are so many to try, so videos like this give a shooter a better idea - some pellets have been discontinued and some new pellets have not been introduced yet.

I don't know but I watched you shoot all these groups and that Hades group if you took the two Flyers out of the group it was the tightest group out of the bunch you had one a little high and one a little low but the rest of them stacked right it where you were aiming and you know as well as I do wind plays a big factor on these shots as well
