Her Swedish sounds excellent! Maybe not to a Swede, but to a Finn she sounds very fluent and I can understand her easily. Utmärkt!
Love her.
Greatest female singer alive. I'll never forget meeting her. A very nice lady.
I wonder if the they sold this play when they moved.
❤
She speaks Dutch fluently, English fluently, Swedish proficiently, German on a casual conversation level and Finnish also a little. Impressive. She is not only an extremely gifted singer, but also very intelligent.
So good she learned Swedish
Simply amazing to hear Dutch Floor speak Swedish fluently!!😮😮
Why? We Dutch, at least the older generations, speak 4 languages. If you’re married to a Swede you have to be good at the language. 🇳🇱🌷🌷🌷
@ingridwatsup9671 I disagree. Not everyone in older generations speaks 4 languages!
4 talen? Over welke generatie heb je het dan?
@@DouweBurumaGeneratie Atheneum/Gymnasium A oude stijl.
Awesome video. Thanks... So great to see 'our' Floor in such a beautiful place which clearly makes her happy. I know our little country is nothing like that but proud of what she has achieved and I feel a lot is still to come!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Floor is superhuman.
That’s some short ass hair
She is the kind of person you can almost worship as a metal singer, and also have a chat with at the grocery store.
Worship? Nonsense …appreciate o.k., but I’m Dutch and we don’t exaggerate. 🇳🇱🌷🌷🌷
She’s wonderful! Love her. 🙌💚🔥

Floor не вероятная! Хочется сказать, что не с этой Планеты. Но видя как общается с животными, на сколько гармонична в лесу.... скорее как раз с этой Земли. Тогда вопрос: от куда пришли все остальные)
She has such an awesome live in Sweden! Lovely interview, great to see this! Greetings, Ingrid from the Netherlands ✌️
She is such an amazing woman! 🤩🤩🤩🤩
1:23 Hey! My name is Floor Jansen, I am a singer by profession and welcome here at home with me in Sweden!
Well, the horse definitely stole the show.
I can't believe she has moved to another place after all the work to build this little paradise. Floor please explain?
Thanks Floor such a nice person
It will never cease to amaze me how fluent this woman has become in multiple languages, during such a short period of time.
Dutch people seem to have a good ear for learning other European languages, unlike in particular English speaking people, who for the most seems to be completely "tone deaf", still sounds like they speak English when they try to speak another language. And it's a totally different thing when you live in an environment where you simply have to use the language every day, in every situation, in opposite to if you sit home in your native country, only learning by books, apps or online, and never use it in daily life.
She’s Dutch! 🇳🇱🌷🌷🌷
@@ingridwatsup9671 Stop being so patriotic please. She is an individual and there is no such thing as a typical Dutchy.
@@longbow857 no, dutch people have an easy time learning languages. that is the reality.
I doubt her Finnish is more than basic as it is a very difficult language to learn. Swedish is much easier, especially if you are native Dutch or German. English is mandatory at school for every Dutch kid.

Are there any Swedish people here who could tell me how good this Swedish is that she speaks? She seems to speek it very fluently - I can't wrap my head around how talented she is...
Very good. Noticeable Bohuslän accent (thank g@d she didn't pick the Stockholm one!).

Weird VOA song but sounds good 😂
That new song is a banger ❤
And the crowd is singing with the great Visions of Atlantis 🎉
Thanks for uploading
Thats a big dog!!
Overall good video. I do however have one objection... You refered to Floor as "A" metal queen. Floor is not a metal queen. Floor is "The" Metal Queen...
Didn't realize she cut her hair. Looks good on her though......
Never heard of her until she opened for my long time fav band. Now I enjoy her music and know who she is.
❤
I love when she says "I'm Floor Jansen and I'm a singer.' Talk about an understatement. It's like the 'I'm the Sun and I'm warm!" There is Floor, then everyone else. ❤
I am Dutch and I don't know her.
Most Dutch people don't feel the need to stand above others, so claiming she is better then others will not be percieved as a compliment. I can clearly see she is one of those people.
My god, her brain!! How does she communicate in her brain. Swedish, finish, German, English and Dutch of course.
These are literally dialects descended from one common language. Except for Finnish. And even if a person speaks urdu, chinese, Turkish, swahili and Hungarian all at the same time, still nothing impressive. Most probably the person was privileged enough to live in those countries or learn them in the comfort of their homes. While the so many people are homeless throughout their lives and busy just surviving, having one to no meals a day and as a result not even speaking their own language properly due to the lack of education.
❤💘❤The Greatest Voice and the Kindest Heart all over the world! ❤💘❤
“It’s easy to forget we’re on a forest walk with a metal queen.” I think that sums up why we all love her so much, yes?
it somehow feels good to know she's living the life she wants somewhere out there. I feel happy for her. But a question remains - if you feel so at home in a quiet place, with two horses, some dogs and a pine tree, what pushed you to become the international star that you are? I understand she is trying to promote the whole "duality" gig, but there must be more to it than that. One doesn't simply go from being cheered by 20 000 fans at Wacken to buying bread from the local bakery
Her (very loving) parents moved a lot when she was a child. She never had the chance to have stable friendships as a child. She is a Highly Sensitive Person (which for most people spoils their quality of life) and could not bear her mother being in pain and ill health all the time, she was never accepted in the many schools she went to because she spoke the wrong dialect of Dutch (because moved a lot and was HSP) and there you go. The recepy for someone who gets her identity from being the best in her trade in the world to wash away the pain, hurt and bruises. And thus she worked so terribly hard, so hard..... And she collapsed. But with Nightwish finally she achieved it. Why else whould she name her album "my paragon"? And she subsequently went for too long with a pregnant belly and collapsed (again). In a way she is a bit of a tragic figure that made the most of her buised youth. But I would not want to swap my whole life with her whole life. I think her good, tender, sensitive heart and her loving parents that gave her at least a loving home base (that moved to further her fathers career all the time) pulled her through. And let us not forget her husband, he adores her. That is just what she needs. If any of these factors would have been less good, she might have dropped out, went to drugs or something. I hope that answers your question.
@@ronaldderooij1774oh, poor her, such a miserable petty-burgeois girl 😢
Narcissistic compartmentalizing
I had the same thought first, but then I realized that the most successful Power- and Symphonic Metal bands come out of the Scandinavian woods, even if Floor is Dutch, of course: Sabaton, Nightwish, Brothers of Metal, Apocalyptica... You name it! A region where you have no real nights in the summer and no light in the midwinter. So maybe it's not only not a contradiction, but a kind of special connection between this two supposedly opposite lifestyles... Have you ever thought about this? 🤔 Greetings from Germany 🤘🏼
And then to think she would have been even more bigger then she is now if After Forever never broke up.
After Forever, bigger than Nightwish? Not so sure. Tuomas Holopainen is in composing what Floor is in singing. The very best. The fact that these two are in one band is one of those 'all planets align' things.
Bigger or not, but she would've kept her artistic freedom. She was phenomenal with her own bands, but everything she's sung since 2013 is written by other people, and I'm not much impressed by that.
There are just not enough words, or not enough languages, to explain just how wonderful she is as a human being. Her animals adore her, it's so obvious, and we love her just as much or more. It's soooo fun to see her happy and smiling. We just want the best for her and her family! Much love, Floor!!
She has insanely good Swedish!
It is absolutely INSANE to me that she now also speaks Swedish (I don't speak it, so idk how fluent she is, but she sounds at least b1-b2?)
@@raymundod5224 I'd say it sounds like a slight norwegian accent to her swedish but Bohuslän is close to Norway. Since she already know dutch and english it's very easy to learn swedish. I don't speak dutch but I can understand quite a bit when reading since I speak swedish and english.
@@Hank_E Being Dutch, I do not understand Swedish, but the way Floor speaks Swedish, it sounds fluent and easy-going. If Swedish natives claim that it is not too hard to learn, coming from a Germanic language, then I believe it immediately. I seem to remember a statement from Floor that she felt that Finnish was much harder to learn than Swedish, which seems naturally right to me, knowing that Finnish is not a Germanic language and rather related to Hungarian (very distantly). Indeed, Swedish sounds strangely familiar to the Dutch, although certainly not everything is easily understood.
Imagine being Floor’s horse! 😂😂❤❤
Floor is so beautiful..
Floor is Awesome
