Osaka Makers' Space is a makerspace in Osaka, Japan. We design, build, repair, make, sew, carve, tool, and do everything we can to be creative, ecological, and educational. We hope to push humanity towards the future even just a little and do so by sharing our knowledge freely and openly. We discuss our thought processes and reasons for doing things as we make our videos, so I hope there's a little something in them you can use to improve your own DIY efforts.
Rick and Morty Portal Gun Upgrade (uncut)
This is the full length version of the upgrade to my DIY Rick and Morty Portal Gun prop. A shorter version or even just a demo video is in the works. I'll upload it as soon as it's done. It's easier to post long videos than to spend a lot of time editing, so that's why the longer version always comes first.
I built this portal gun for Halloween 2017 and ran out of time to do anything more than make it light up, so I revisited the build and added a lot of programming and refining to the hardware.
I'll clean up the code and 3D files and post them here in the description. Please be patient, but feel free to write a comment reminding me to do it if you feel that I'm taking too long. ;)
