Hi I was there in 1993,and there was Nothing absolutely nothing like this….no running water no electricity nothing…just hand built bungalows on white sands beach and a few more at lonley and on…a few beach restaurants as such but real rural….white sands was the place to go and smoke weed..chill..drink and build a fire and watch the sun go down…..I got into a bit of trouble with the cops for weed coz it was illegal at that time and up in the police cells for five days and then onto trat to get sentenced…14 days so I thought…turns out 36.but paid bail and was out in 14…I’ll go into that more in my book…what I trying to say is that I wouldn’t mind going back to koh chang to see how it has changed in thirty years…and have a puff on white sands again…..thanks Nick

Thanks for the information, I am planning to visit Koh Chang , I have couple of questions as i will be visiting thailand for the first time 1. Can I book the bus immediately after landing in the bangkok, is there any booking counter in the airport itself or we need prior booking from online? 2. Can I book the ferry and van upon reaching Trat or we need advance booking?
