Dont buy a older benz if you cant afford to pay the mechanics labor. If your no stranger to working on cars you can do most of your own repairs with aftermarket/used parts affordably on an s class just make sure you got a very cabable obd scanner they with make life with an s class diy repairs much easier. And these 07 and newer v12s are rock solid reliable engines

The rt is only good in the summer, anything below 50° feels like I’m driving a tractor. I hate how sluggish they get when the engine is cold, they’re so slow and sound awful when you’re late for work at 6AM struggling to get up to 40mph while the car behind me on my a$$. I can let it “warm up” for 5m and nothing changes, everything feels less responsive and slow. While the Kia Toyota or Honda or any other car next to me starts up and just goes. It pisses me off bc I’m gonna break the pos one day it’s a 2017 rt less than 100k miles it’s not even old like that. In the summer it starts and just takes off but as soon as it starts to get cold you need patience to drive it and I do not have that. Not sure if the scat does this too but I wanna trade this in for a fast car I can just turn on and go fast (not even speed I just want smoothness and sound) regardless of the temperature. Wanted a hemi bc of the raw v8 sound and thought they were cars made for men but I guess I was wrong.

Bottom line is that they have tried to push an overpriced car with poor reliability>>>too bad because its a good looking car with nice pep.
