$270 Do-it-all Shotgun? - Mossberg Maverick 88 Security #skeetshooting
I picked up a backup shotgun and wanted to see how it would do shooting some clay pigeons.
I’ve been hunting for years with a Maverick 88 28” vent-rib and never had a failure to load, shoot, or eject. They are so cheap that I don’t mind it getting dirty doing it’s job.
Post your first or favourite shotgun in the comments.
I hope you enjoy this video and let me know in the comments what videos you would like to see next or ask any questions you might have.

It's -27°C outside where I live, so come relax by the fire and watch me reload .30 Carbine for my WWII rifle. I hope you enjoy this video and let me know in the comments what videos you would like to see next or ask any questions you might have. WWII Reloading - M1 .30 Carbine
มุมมอง 8Kปีที่แล้ว
Reloading 30 Carbine for my M1 Carbine. This cartridge was invented for the M1 Carbine and was meant to give rear echelon troops a light weight weapon that was to be used in place of the 1911. The Carbine can shoot longer ranges than the 1911 with much less practice by the shooter. I hope you enjoy this video and let me know in the comments what videos you would like to see next or ask any ques...

Reloading ASMR - Reloading for my M1 Garand

Reloading ASMR - Reloading for my M1 Garand
I choose the M1 Garand
Got both already
It depends. Am I with others and is it an infantry hob along with a large scale attack? Garand. This allows me to take down targets from farther, while being louder than the .30 round it should still be masked by the gunfire of enemy MG's. M1 carbine would be a stealthier weapon as it would be real quiet with a suppressor, and also excels since it has a beeg magazeen :)
Pacific, carbine. Europe, Garand
Carbine, I don’t trust my shot enough for a 8 round mag 😂
Garand. All day every day
I love the feel of the 30 carbine my grandpa had one he wasnt a vet or anything but i think he bought it off of a veteran i still have it and my grandpa is long gone
M1 garand for europe and africa. Carbine for the jungle, urban or natural.
All in all, I'm taking the M1 Carbine. Garand has range and power but almost every other attribute goes to the Carbine. Weight, round weight, magazine fed, smallest magazine is still two rounds more than the Garand's clip, ease of movement and handling.
Depends on the task. Clearing the bunkers and trench systems along the coast....carbine.
I want both
Garand
The Beretta BM59 308
I’m going with the carbine 😊
M1 garand
M1 grand
For home defence I prefer the carbine.
If ur paying $2.09 for “garand safe” 30-06. Ur looking in the opposite direction dudes. That’s RIDICULOUS Legit .89¢-$1.10 MAXIMUM is a more realistic commercial price Easily available too. So you’re actually paying MORE than commercial Garand safe ammo to make your own currently Congrats
RIDICULOUS is Canada’s middle name when it comes to guns and ammo.
@ ahhhhhhhhh I see 🍁 Sorry for your… predicament
@@SamCulperJr thanks, my prices in the video are also in Canadian dollars. It was also shot during Covid so the component costs have come down a bit since then as well. But I totally get your point and the first thing I say to people when they tell me they want to reload is, what caliber, and how much do you shoot a year?
@ Thst clears up a whole lot. Yeah I’ve been in the buy in bulk and buy with friends mindset Since I can even remember. Only reloading I’ve ever done is for my Black powder guns lol
@ that’s the way to do it. Now I just need to make some friends! I’ve never reloaded black powder, what cartridges are you loading?
Depends on how far ive gotta travel
I heard that Marines that got their hands on a Carbine would not give them up.
M1 Carbine if it's in an urban area
medium to long? M1 Garand Up close and personal? M1 Carbine
Grand ❤❤❤
M1 carbine
carbine
Cable
I’d love to see this comparison done between a Garand and an M14!
@@budweisser777 I wish! That would be a great comparison but the M14 is illegal in Canada :(
Personally, I prefer the M1 carbine
Garand. One shot one kill
m1garand
Carbine
I choose the Garand...
M1 garand no hesitation, that gun is so accurate you dont even jave to try to aim it WANTS to hit the target. I shot my buddies in 30-06 at the East Coast Night Shoot in November last year and it was no fuckin joke. Recoil wasnt even bad. Dinging steel at almost 200 yards no probleiroith irons. Its no wonder that gun was standard issue.
M1 Carbine for CQB M1 Garand for more Dopamine
M grand
M1
Use strips of conveyor belting or fire hose……. Fender washers for the hardware.
Good idea, I will try that next time!
i'd probably try something like tow straps, cut them to the needed length and burn a hole through the cut pieces to bolt it to the plate and stand, i just thought of it so i cant say with and cofidence it'll work but the idea is that it'll survive multiple shots from any normal caliber like 50 bmg and under simply because one shot wont be enough to completely cut the strap due to size alone and they're rather durable so the impact from the round on the plate shouldnt bother it nor the weather
I think you might be onto something there, and I will certainly try that in a future video. Thanks for the idea!
I would probably choose the carbine because ive always had a soft spot for it, im not sure why
I’d rather have either over the kar98
I'll take the m1
M1 Garand stops things so dose the m1 Carbine just not in the same way...
In a war? The Garand. For everyday use? The carbine.
"Car Bean"
There’s a lotta ancient fudds in this comments section 😂 “stopping power” and “knock down power” are a myth. Shot placement is what matters. A .30 Carbine would be better for almost every situation compared to a 30-06 in the same way .45ACP is useless compared to 9mm.
My ego says garand but my degenerative shoulder says carbine
The M1 grand
Apparently because 90% of what a solder does with his rifle is carry it they loved the carbine
It depends on what kind of battle I will be in. Carbine for town or close combat. M1 maybe in something like the Battle of Buldge
Frozen Chosin. In the book The Last Stand of Fox Company, it's noted that the Carbine, when shooting at the enemy in heavy coats, was not always reliable. Just know that as a potential issue. Personally, I carry the smallest caliber for every weapon intended for self-defense. More rounds = more practice shots, and everyone around me on my side has the knockout round while I have the suppression. Just a strategy. At the end of the day, a well placed shot with any round can kill.
