I recommend visiting the DECs website and under fishing there's a tab for places to fish, then go to region 9 as thats the WNY region, if will give you a list of places to try. I will never divulge a spots location by saying its name, where it is located or show how i get to a spot. This is for a few reasons, one people get upset about spot naming, 2. Spots like these are good cause not a lot of people fish them or don't know how, seeing as how Ive shown how to fish it, half that battle is done. 3. The trash from the increased people presence is absolutely ridiculous, every time my brother and i fished this, we had to clean up fishing trash and people walking by leaving bottles and such, i do not want to increase that nor do I want this place to be closed to fishing as a result. We've lost so many places around here from that. I understand it is difficult to find spots to fish that are good but me telling you spots does nothing to help you improve as an angler. My goal with this channel is to give you guys the tools so that you can go out and do this for yourselves. There is a steep learning curve with fishing and getting the tools helps massively cut into that, I understand also not everyone has the time to put into learning it like I do. Hiring a guide like my buddy Mike, also will help you a lot as well. As i mentioned though the DEC has done an excellent list of places for you to go and fish.

It’s a shitty situation that can’t be changed, I can only do my best going forward, I’ve actually lost 5 lbs since from not eating as much and getting more vitamins from drinks and stuff. Gonna keep taking off more to help my body out some more so it can fight if something pops up. Appreciate the kind words. I’m absolutely looking forward to the salmon boys, Michigan is getting some and I’ve heard whispers the salmon river is getting a few. We’re usually a month behind them so should be soon. Definitely looking forward to it and having lots of videos for it too.

@@BillMikesAnglingAdventures yup got to wear glasses all times now. I highly recommend you get your eyes checked every year, they usually catch this with a dilated eye exam since it was toward the back on my eye. 5/1000000 was my odds of getting this. Avg age is 60 for this. But hopefully no more hiccups and this is a one and done thing.

Yeah it’s Uber snag heavy lost at least 20 Ned heads, like I said above it was absolutely terrible fishing it the other 9 times. Don’t recommend even wasting your time to fish it, the lower has been fishing well though I’ve been popping 20-40 bass pending on the day recently.

@@BillMikesAnglingAdventures lower Niagara would be my suggestion for ya, tie some dropshot rigs up and let ‘em bounce bottom like your float fishing for steelhead, I always use artificial lures, grab a pack of white Berkeley pb minnows in 3 inch to 4, the small bass are even spitting up bigger than those sizes but I don’t like using bigger. try artpark and target slack current areas. There’s a few staircases in the lower lots and the upper lot to go down to the river, JD state park and the Lewiston launch should have a few fish. Devils and whirlpool should be mostly untouched from angling pressure from shore and boats I would think those might even be the best of the two,I work tomorrow or Id join ya. Next time u stop in I’ll have to get your info I’ll join u for some steelhead fishing this fall/winter

ive messed around with this spot probably 10 times or so, this was by far the best day i had. I don't recommend it lol.

Yeah it’s not as good when the water level is high, and you can’t tell if it’s high water until you’re at the top!

we mostly use trout beads, chartreuse and yellows work well, size wise anywhere from a 8 to 12mm pending water conditions, they will also take spawn sacs as well. Hope it helps!

@@georgevukelich607 it’s mostly bass right now on the lower, I’d use Ned’s, dropshots for bass down there. Trout guys aren’t really aren’t there til at least November. But as I said plenty of bass

It’s actually a freshwater drum/gaspergoo/sheephead it’s our Great Lakes version of one.

nah i deliberately fish for them a lot of times, just got to wash your hands after, no big deal.

it was spring when i caught him, these guys are not active in winter at all so they come in to chase the minnows. She may be cause the skin around the gills looked yellow, but it also may just be malnourishment too. Hard to say.

It’s actually the mouth of a creek, Erie is actually on the other side of the wall, and he’s free to come in and out as he pleases. The water is that color from the mud bottom, the skin by the gills looking yellow are a cause for concern though I’d agree

Yes and no, there is some climbing involved, last winter did break sections again but if u take your time it’s fairly decent. You’ll have to let me know when u go out we could have a sheepshead contest.

After doing it for couple yrs you get a system down for it. The net girl is indeed a solid netter.

Seen many a pike fall to them for sure!

Yeah I hooked a 3 pound bass it had to be 3 pounds but it came off and just went smallmouth fishing in canadaway cought a 4pounder
