This is where I've been sharing some of the model work I've done, and am currently working on.
I don't try to hide the flaws, and hope that sharing my troubles can aid others in avoiding them

Battlestar Solaria Hangar Diorama Part 0ne-Intro and Starstreak
มุมมอง 3274 หลายเดือนก่อน
Moving to what will likely be a fairly large project. I'm going to be building a hangar diorama/display from the old Battlestar Solaria RPs we did a few years back. I'm drawing inspiration from a similar build over on Interstellar Modeler's channel For the build, I'll be using the 1/72 scale Hangar from Cozmic Scale Models, a Viper Mk3 from Cozmic Scale Models, a Viper Mk2 from Moebius, and 2 M...
Allied Knight Armigers

Buildup of 4 Knight Armigers from Games Workshop These are painted up as allies for my Hell Hounds Chapter, and the Order of the Blessed Flame
USS Wanderer-Discovery Timeline
มุมมอง 7068 หลายเดือนก่อน
Buildup of a re-imagining of one of my older custom Star Trek designs. The older version of this ship started life as a not-so-good kitbash from the TOS Enterprise and Klingon ships. This version was done using the Enterprise from Discovery as an inspiration, as well as using my old Wayfarer class design as a guide. New hull was done up in Tinkercad. Also using custom parts from Modelwerks and ...

Final video for 2022. Buildup of Games Workshop's Sicaran Battle Tank from the Age of Darkness, using a turret I found on line to turn it into the Omega Tank Destroyer. Sadly, the turret file is no longer available.
Hell Hounds Armour 1

Build up of no less than seven Armour kits for Warhammer 30,000 and 40,000 from Games workshop. The video is, as a result, longer than most of mine, but worth it

Absolutely treemendous work there Patrick. The finished deck is awesome, love the painting of the figures & deck equipment. Lighting looks class. A bit of concern for you though, are you ok? Your breathing sounded a bit heavy.
Just typical winter stuffiness, no worries, Wayne. Thanks for stopping by and giving it a look
Great work as always my friend.
Thanks
Was so nice to see you back again and you finishing of your model it look's great.
Thanks.
Your welcome I've had some right up's and down's and I've . Only just found your channel again done same catching up. With your videos liked your enterprise bridge model and your othere work's have been outstanding. Looking forward to seeing your next project.
@@PaulGould-t7u Glad you could find me again
The phxhawk was the vs1S not the 1A, the Stinger was based on the 1A
Nice one.
Thanks, G
Not bad at all there Patrick. My anticipation is building for the hangar itself. Was you watching Nascar while you was working on these? I noticed a pace car in the TV behind you.
Thanks, Wayne. Hangar itself is up next. And, yes, I had NASCAR up in the background
@@Quaralane will be watching the race later this week.
Really coming along there Patrick, Cant wait to see the hangar bay. How do you think of the pilots names in your head, some interesting names & callsigns?
Sometimes, I'll be honest, they just come to me. I've had several characters named Roguewing, which is where that one came from. The rest, I really don't know how they popped into my head, but they did
Cool!
Thanks
The MK.III looks really good Patrick, those custom decals you made came out really well. I might have asked this before, but when you scan a kit supplied decal sheet & make yer own off them. Do you have a program on yer PC that you use to make them, to make the template off the kit ones & does it let you paste your colors into a template shape? I use MS Word for mine, to re-size anything & print them off, but no shapes, which I do the old fashioned way in MS Paint.
I use Paint Shop Pro for mine. Mostly using the original scan when I go to make customs. That way, i can also get the lettering in.
Really nice.
Thank you
Nice work! I like the colors on this one.
Thanks. I wanted the Solaria's ships to be noticeably different from those on the Galactica.
Looking forward to this one Patrick. Ive been trying to get those 2 pack Moebius Viper's for ages with no luck, as they are WAAY too expensive over here in the UK. I wanted to paint them up in WW2 colors, in an alternate universe style, where Baltar from the TOS, crossed over to re-imagined universe & sent Cylon Raiders back to Japan & Germany to try & change history & then TOS Adama crossed over & met his re-imagined self & they sent Viper's to the Allies.
I bought mine back when they were new. Only just now getting around to building them. That said, it should be an interesting project
Despite them being small, the detailing you did is treemendous. Awesome job fella.
Thanks, Wayne
Pretty cool!
Thanks
Ambitious project, Awesome Sauce! :D
It will definitely take time. Part of why I'm breaking it into stages
another quality build sir!
Thank you
Not bad at all there Patrick. Were those Neodymium magnets you used? Also liking the dead corpses, the detail on those are treemendous. Like the weapons detailing too.
Thanks, Wayne. Yes, they were. The base needed something, and I figured they'd be appropriate
So you didn't have to paint main disk, body at all? Just the decals on top and it looks great?
Thanks,. Just the aztec decals over the original plastic.
Looks like the Romulan Bird of Prey. Especially the lines underneath of the main hull.
Thank you. That's a comparison I hadn't expected
It has been a while since a video from you popped up, well done!
Thanks, G. Just haven't felt like posting endless work that's never finished on my Warhammer stuff.
My row was just called, so I'm saving this for later. This looks very cool!😀
Thank you
Similar to the Chandley.
Similar, but not quite
Cool!
Nice to see you back Patrick. Despite yer troubles, she looks treemendous. Cant understand why the clear dome for the bridge fogged up despite you using clear glue. Nice work fella.
Thanks, Wayne Actually, it was CA glue there, because the bridge I was using is resin.
@@Quaralane oh right, superglue will always dry with a misty white finish. Ive started using Gorilla Glue clear for when working around clear parts, its a shame there isnt a superglue out there that doesn't dry clear.
Pretty cool, nice to see you building again. Its been some time
Thanks. Been building, just haven't been making videos
I rather like the design of this ship, similar to the Reliant-class but sleeker. You have certainly given yourself a very challenging build with this model.
Thanks. Was definitely challenging. That's part of why I did the 3d proof of concept for her
Excellent looking model!
Thank you
You might want to think about shortening your intro....😂
Nice to see you back Patrick. The "Little Guys" turned out really well. Tamiya Insignia White is a great compromise for a "Starship Grey" that's what I painted the 1/72 Bandai Falcon in. Ive seen Cozmic's "Delta Flyer" kit & all the interior kits that go with it, but unfortunately they are a bit out of my price range, but the detail looks immense.
Thanks. I've thought about the Delta Flyer, but was never interested enough to pull the trigger
Haha! The Odysseus' registration number is the year of my birth. :D Neat models.
Thanks
Nice. My experience with white decal paper has been Testors inkjet paper and Fine Molds laserjet paper. Both were too thick.
Thanks The paper I get was from another site, but the thickness wasn't the issue with the white this time. It was the white background
What paints did you use for the blue parts
Didn't paint the blue. It's still the kit plastic.
Thank-you. Thank-you.
I'm so glad I watched your Eagle videos. I bought this model because I built one like 45 years ago and I wasn't sure if this was the exact same one, but it seems to be. I know it's not perfect, but it's a good memory and a fine enough kit.
Nice work but I thought this was an instructional video, instead it's just showing your progress.
Great video! Love the XL!!! Is there anyway I could get the spare decals as mine came without!
Afraid not. This one has been long done. Sorry
I'm 8 years late but this would be Jade 2. The bars at the back of the wings are the number in the squad. Luke's has 5 bars.
Only if Jade Squadron uses the same markings as Red Squadron. They don't
Great work as always buddy always like watching your videos gives me new ideas and help's with my projects thank you for sharing them.
Thanks. Glad you liked it
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you!
Nice video and build! This is also an ongoing project for me and I appreciate seeing your progression. Bonus points for the use of the term 'Cram-Fu"! 🙂
Thanks. And that term is something I found on forums when dealing with electronics
@@Quaralane The builders must be fans of Joe Bob Briggs!
Very cool. I just ordered a challenge coin from him on Etsy. Also put an order in for a holocron with USB memory from a competitor of his, but his look just as good and as you point out, they're cheaper, so I'm probably going to order a few of his HIS holocrons next. Starting with the "holocron of wisdom" Darth Plageius holocron. I kind of like the one you got too but, interesting as I find the Sith Enperor character to be I've always had a soft spot for the pyramids. If I ever get the Holocron of Shadows it will probably be after I've gotten a few of the others. Anyways appreciate you taking the time to review it, more for me to think about when I'm looking over my shopping options. ✌😁
Is it possible to get one of those?
Sadly, I don't think so. I'm fairly sure the producer is no longer making kits.
@@Quaralane Ty for replying. Too bad, I love the way the Skyraptor looks.
@@11Jodr71 Do some searching on the web. You never know what you may find
It's so bad
pitot probes...for airspeed...not refuel probes, they would be much longer, need to clear rotor arc, lol
For a real helicopter, yes. On the show, it was a refueling probe
This is really cool keep up the good work!
I got two kits of air wolf two different companies
The white seemline of whitepaint goiing to black is like the see waves..masking very bad.. .lol...
Great job as always buddy
Thanks
Excellent build!
Thank you
Loved this build Patrick. I ordered one of these only after seeing your video.I’d resisted until then.
Thanks. Me, I've got two more of the big one, and may pick up another
