Most Toxic Gaming EDH a group of guys who love playing and talking about Magic the Gathering. We hope that you join us as we endeavor to open a Collector Booster Box of every set where one was produced. We have opened boxes of Modern Horizons, Fallout, Lord of the Rings, Strixhaven, Murders at Karlov Manor and more and we can't wait show you the amazing cards that we have pulled. In addition to our Box Opening videos, we will have high power level casual commander gameplay videos, deck techs, and a series of shorts called Why We Play, where we will talk about favorite cards and combos.

When we started this channel, we had no idea the amount of time and work that goes into the TH-cam videos we all enjoy. This video is certainly not perfect. Creating these video’s has been a learning process. Every part of this video from the filming, editing, recording voice overs, animation of the logo, and even the composition and production of the music for the Booster Box Breakdown was us learning on the go. Honestly, I’ve always hated banning cards. Like I get it, but any other product gets a recall it makes the news. When it’s magic the company just says “o well sorry” Like maybe stop putting out so many cards and take some time developing the game again. Idk I hate retcons and back tracks
Agreed, the biggest issue here is them rushing product. WOTC admitted that the version of nadu we have was the second rewording and it went untested.

Honestly, I hope they do a full unban of a lot of cards. Since they are making a bracket setting, having bans be at specific points in the bracket. Then again, it’s a social game and everyone should rule 0, even in your own play groups. Definitely rule 0 in card shops and new groups.
Yeah thats what this ultimately comes down to is rule 0. Same thing happens in dnd. Hey DM can I run this wild homebrew class? The RC only affects your table if you let it.

Super simple, rule 0. If your play group doesn't allow it, problem solved.
Oh yeah for like casuals, things like jeweled lotus and mana crypt don't allow a game to be fully played out, but for cEDH, that's entire purpose. Being able to slingshot past your opponent. And everyone there is already running expensive cards so the argument of the price of the cards being so high isn't fair to the casual community. Solution there just being proxies. Ultimately it should come down to rule 0. Nadu makes sense. It's just an engine that sits there and spools it's wheels, often times with no actual resolution. Just to play a bunch of cards. But JL, like at my table, often times my 5 drop commander gets countered first go around. The JL is to help play catch up and get it back out.
