DJI MIC 2 Left in Snow for Months: Will It Survive?
In this video, I share an unexpected journey with my DJI MIC 2. I accidentally left this amazing mic outside in the garden while recording a music video for my brewing channel. Shortly after, we got at least 10 centimeters of snow. The mic was completely covered, and I thought I would never see it again. But a few weeks ago, I found it, and surprisingly, it looked okay. After some cleaning and sitting in a jar of rice for a couple of weeks, it's time to test it out. Join me as I test the DJI MIC 2's durability and performance after being buried in snow for months. Will it still work? Watch to find out!

Putting it in a jar of silica desiccant would be a better idea. Rice isn't that effective at drying electronics. Glad it survived the wet weather.
Thanks for the tip
Love the shirt! Great video, and excited to add the kit to my studio as well. Nice work!
Cool, thanks!
what a great color grading! Is it LUT or manual tweaking?
gr8 video. Handneld? What lens is this?
Lens is Helios 44 2
which adapter did you used?
Which adapter did you used for the s5?
how do I adapt this to s5ii?
I took a screenshot and sent to my better half... seeing if she would call that it was fake or not. She fell for it. haha
Cool, this is just BETA software. This will get so much better in the future I think.
Did you use a filter or is the lens just soft?
No filter, its a vintage lens
Love this.. what a great combo. The colors are wonderful
Its an amazing lens for so little money
Ikke bare brygging du kan må e si
Tackar!
And when are you starting your music career? cheers 🍻
Never Im afraid
Nice job, well done.
Thank you so much
Gorgeous vlog! Can't wait to bring my Helios 44 2 out for a walk.
Thank you, can´t wait to see your Helios 44 2 Content. Recorded a brew day with the same setup this weekend, but that will be released on my brewing channel.
I love the look of this!
Get a M42 adapter and get some cheap vintage glass. Check out the Helios videos on this channel. That's an amazing lense also. I bought a bunch of lenses for scraps. I will try them out on this channel.
@@DrHansStudio Funny you should say. I recently bought a Helios lens with an M42 adapter. Just saving to do something better than vlogging ;)
@@noisackda2564 I first got the Helios 44-2 58mm and a Sony M42 adapter (there's two videos on this channel with the Helios). After loving that lens, I picked a M42 adapter for my Lumix S5. People are selling M42 old lenses for scraps. and they work on all my cameras. s5, FX30, BMPCC4k, BMPCC6K, I just need different adapters of course. I bought about 15 lenses and 2x teleconverter, some filters and a camera bag for about 200USD. This one was one of them. One lens is a 200mm and with the 2X teleconverter it becomes a 400mm. A 200mm L-monunt alone would set me back 2000USD.
♡♡♡
Thanks
Nice kit, same as mine :) ....great drumming, a new SUB for you here :)
which is the best shutter angle?
Great video! Would like to see from a different angle.. how are you liking the kit? Keep this up!
Thanks, I really like it

I love your brew videos and the td50 looks epic, built a studio in my backyard last year with td15 and now learning brewing, awesome job thanks for your content
Thank you so much
Can you make a review of the Roland td50K2 or just a video testing out the kit
That have to be later when I got to learn it.

JA!!!!
You're living the dream, this is awesome!
Thanks mate, cheers
Bravo, man! Bravo! 🍻
Thanks 🍺

very nice place to play piano or guitar and smoke a joint
Do you have any information on these bass traps? I'm quite interested in trying this out. Did you build them yourself?
Someof them are bpoght and some Ove built myself. I´ts helmholtz resonators. The bought ones is from SMT called Varitune V4 and V6
The Dr is in!
southpaw!
Hell yes ! 🤘🏼
Nice set up. Put shame to my arturia Drumbrute and korg monologue..... Good tune too, an Irish twist. 👍
not harsh in the middle ...that is....if your phrasing is longer and not so staccato
That was a bit of fun...
good video
Thanks
G'day Doc' nice tune. The guitar sounds like it's tuned very low. Your new studio looks bigger than the old one, should get a good sound out of it. Cheers... 🍺
Thanks. It was recorded with a standard tuned Baritone guitar. But standard is in B so yes low. Old studio was 109m2 in total. With one control room which you saw here. Then it had two recording rooms. One big and one smaller. Common area, pentry, toilet and storage etc. My living room is about 20m2. But compared to just the old control room my living room is a little bigger. More square though.
Yes you are working hard. Well done. Can I just say that a little ambient timber can be a good thing. Some natural resonance. Cheers mate 😎👍
Thanks mate. I dont want a dead room. Thats why you mainly see me using diffusion and not so much absorption at all.
Awesome
Thanks
Looking good. Now we need some more of you playing guitar. I don't mean for testing out the room, just because we need your guitar skills! 🎸
OK, will sort it! Need to fire up the grill now, cheers!
Sounds great.
Thanks
Completely new concept for me, so yes, it is good content.
Great
Ahh.. There's nothing as refreshing as a romantic death ballad to start the day.
🤣
McLoving it
Awesome
Hell yea 🤘
Stay tuned for more!
I didn't like that. It was too short.
Was just kidding around. Will be a lot more and proper recorded later!
G'day Doc' I'd like you to do a remix for me... 👑
G'day! The studio aint up and running yet I'm afraid. Cheers!
G'day Doc, nice studio. Keep those beers away from the electronics. 😂
Will try my best 🤣
Drinking wine. 😂 All 4 taps are currently empty. New brew equipment arrived today. Will brew very soon again. Hey, just wanted to say, I really like this format of catching up. I should have done this laid-back format with my brew chamber build. 🍻
Cheers

Thanks Greta! You will love this project as I'm reusing as much as possible from the old studio!
