- We run a free national mental health support network for bikers
- We train bikers in mental health first aid

Mental Health Awareness Week Introduction
Dear men, please keep an eye on your mental health. You don’t have to be strong… talk to someone, ride your motorbike, seek help. I’m a female rider and my motorbike saved my life. I also got help. But I know that it’s so hard for many men out there, so please take care. #boysgetsadtoo
This video gives me tears.. Im 29, beginner rider and bought myself a motorbike last month.. Yes it is therapeutic.. and I know there's a lot more to explore and learn from riding and from the experiences it gives.. ❤
Thank you.
I just got my license with 60
Been riding for fifty years. Many times the only thing that kept me going was heading out for a ride. Saved my life so many times. By the way a great song in the video. Does anyone know who the artist is?
There's something about riding a bike that gives you a sense of freedom. My helmet has heard thoughts that nobody else has heard. The exhaust screams the screams that I can't. You don't fully understand these things unless you ride, and it's hard explaining it to someone. Is it dangerous? Yes. Are they fast? Yes. But motorcycles actually save lives. Alot of lives.
Nice
I am always here if you need any long rides in India 🇮🇳 .. A brother to another 🙏🏼
Amazing brother ❤
They say "You never see a motorbike parked outside of shrink's office".
Need to go riding again
Mega, sztos
🤗🤗🎉🎉
71 and riding my motorsickle regularly.
For me going fast through the twisties on a Sports bike is the only thing that slows my mind down. So that I just focus on what's in front of me and not all the other things that are clouding up my mind.
73 and I’ll jump on my bike for a jug of milk...my truck, nope.
This just popped up so I gave it a watch...moving in deed. Perhaps because it touches the consciousness of us motorcyclist's. If we have a bike & the stuff in life get's on top of us, then it's a release. I totally relate to the quote in ''Zen & the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance'' by author Robert M Pirsig : ''Philosophy of Riding a Motorcycle''... On a cycle the frame is gone. You're completely in contact with it all. You're in the scene, not just watching it anymore, and the sense of presence is overwhelming. The whole experience, is never removed from immediate consciousness.
The grin you make riding your bike is priceless !
This is 100% accurate! 👍
Good stuff ...
I found your channel yesterday and managed to get out on my bike today (ktm690) purely motivated by your influence. I feel absolutely great for finally doing something and it made a huge impact on my sense of achievement after months/years of stagnation, isolation, delusion, we all knowthe narratiive.. No waffle just a big thank you much love psv
I need this song
I sold my Bonnie and Tiger 40 years ago, and nothing was ever the same after. I've always regretted their loss. Now I've an RE Classic350 arriving soon, hopefully the start of a stable of 3-4 good thumpers. As I've had deep, even suicidal depression in past years, I know how biking with mates could have helped me....I've been so close to self deletion several times. I'm now older, stoic and thankfully single with land of my own in the Nth Lakes. I've been discussing with mates about building a small hangout in my woodland for bikers who need moral support, to meet, camp over, imbibe the home brew/coffee/whatever, stare into the campfire flames and let it out their demons. Still working it out, but it'll be a natural build, cozy, safe, and monthly gatherings. Thoughts?
Put some money into improving the quality of the bloody roads!
Been there and have many t-shirts Good org
Hi, I'm a former mental health care counselor turned private chef and daily motorcycle rider. I'm happy to offer my help in any way to your cause. I like this and I feel I get the money, been riding since I was 4, now 58. Let me know if I can help.
Thank you. Fantastic movie. 🫶🫶
I wanted to end my life cause I felt alone in the world and (of course) my girl left me for another dude, bike life saved my life, it restored my ambitions and courage to live on, I'm now adventuring on the journey of riding even farther and finding new places I never been, I don't ride every day, but every day I'm thinking about that next sunday when I will hop on my bike and ride away for my next adventure, bike life even brought me some new friends and some sense of belonging. People in general don't care about men's mental health but every life is worth living to the very end and we need to help each other out, when ever you see a lonely rider don't hesitate do wave or even ask about his day. it does really help and it makes you feel like you aren't invisible.
I've suffered from anxiety for over 20 years or so and it's the one thing that is guaranteed to help, owning and riding a motorcycle. Support each other, especially us men, as we seem to not be able to share are demon's. Paul UK
Intense et explicite 👍
Something wrong with the settings?; need to watch in full screen to see the right hand side? Brilliant organisation!
Greetings from New York in the United States! I truly appreciate what you’re doing. Your cause and your dedication resonates with me. Riding provides a certain level of therapy in itself but the extra level of mental health support that you aspire to is really very inspiring. Bravo!
Good man.
Easier said than done matey 😢
Two wheels has almost cost me my life, but it has also saved my life. There is nothing on earth that is like riding, nothing.
I'm a 70-year-old woman with 3 motorbikes. When people say to me "Isn't that dangerous", I say, "Buying a motorbike saved my life". They give me a blank stare until the message sinks in.
Im 67 and riding since 15 years old,71.
Mental health is a serious matter in the USA. After my military career was over I had big problems with PTSD, depression and anger. I got help and I have been on bikes since I was 4 yr old. I’m now 63, and still ride even with the loss of my right leg. My friends say I am crazy, I say I have limited stress, all things considered. Note: You ever notice there is never a bike parked at the Psychiatrist office?
I`m 58, recently told i`v got depression [possibly due to the fact i was told last year i have months to live with lung cancer [even though they caught it early !] can`t get out on bike as it`s always pi$$ing down in this miserable country....
❤❤❤❤
Only bikers know why a dog sticks his head out of a car window
In the period when they release the flu with the new name, i can drive whole days true holland! Stop over at a bench in the fields to do coffee out of my thermos and a brought in sandwich! My was forbidden to eat anywhere, both inside and outside! I was denied access to events. I was not allowed to do sports. Lonely and alone....3 for years. My bike dragged me through!
I sent one of your videos the other day to my wife... she didn't got the message, while she's the one with the therapists...
Great video, but there's something that's obviously not right. At 0:43 the guy takes the cover off his bike that's been stored in his garage for what we assume is a very long time, puts the key in the ignition, and the bike starts right up. The reality is that bike isn't going to start and he either spends hours fiddling with it or heads back to the couch and gets more depressed.
Ben ridding sence 68 mostly when my car did not work It does not matter what type of bike just so it gets you back Clubs are for the weak I ride alone It always helps me in more ways than I know my car only gets me to work Carl
Keep up the great work. It’s a well worth it path you tread. It’s not easy to spot those suffering so we need be vigilant. Through personal experience (as everyone says) I hold someone very close to me who has suffered for years. He’s only young but what he has been put through only makes me stronger in helping him and bikers like him. He passed his bike test a couple of years ago because he wanted to be part of a group and had been shunned and bullied for years. The best thing that happened to him was getting his bike. Surprising how just a quick wave when riding and stopping at a cafe where other bikers are and just chatting to like minded people with no agenda but bikes makes him feel better.
I am 53, got me a motorbike last year, started to learn to play the accordion and got us two kajaks, one for me and one for my wife. I would have missed something very important, had I not done all these three things. I absolutely love them all.
With life's ups & downs, twists & turns, getting back on the 2 wheels has helped. It was first when I was 22 that I caught the bug, riding. Then a long hiatus before reaching 76 y.o. that I again started to ride. The more miles I put down, the more new friends I find with the same understanding of what 'wind therapy' really is, opens your eyes. Not everyone's pain is the same, but the passage of time, finding new places & friends has definitely made a difference, slow but sure. Loss takes an immense toll, friends who listen, maybe share the same interests, as in motorcycling, can ease things a little bit at a time. Depression is real, but light at the end of a tunnel is also real and gets brighter as we keep going forward. My good friends keep reminding me - Don't give up.
You'll never see a motorcycle parked outside a psychiatrist's office. (unknown)
