Shed Renovation's Part 68 - Prep work for the internal wall linings and decking.

The old window needed some glazing putty, i havent done that for years... and the last external wall cladding sheet is cut for this stage of the build. I also make a jig for the door handles to be routered in to the Western red cedar doors.

We ordered the shower screen and need to drive to North Rock in Sydney to pick it up, the shower is now ready to use. The fly screens are installed, but we still need to add the cover strips.

We fit the screen doors before painting and adding the fly mesh. We also started by installing the side steps and pouring the small slab.

We added the door seals to stop the snakes, etc., and the timber screen because we couldn't order custom-made units before Christmas.

In this video, I test the Autostart function from our Victron solar unit. Before the test, I removed the M.E.N link on the Stamford alternator and labelled the GENSET not to use the GPOs. We gave the PTO chipper a test run and then checked it over to make sure all bolts and nuts were tight, we then feed it some more small trees. We are going clear all our old logging tracks, this is allowed by local lands and services.

We have started on the External Cladding again. The solar setup turned up, and we needed to build the carport to install the panels. This new system will save us the cost of the genset running 6 hours daily to charge the Bluetti.
