Those of you who installed your own, do you need to reprogram the Key FOBs?

Thanks a lot. Ordered a new part 35881-TG7-A04. It appears A04 superceded A03 and A02 by my research. The OEM part costs more but rest assured. It took only 5 mins! Thanks again Brian!

Life changing video right here! I can’t thank you enough! For years I drove my car with the stupid “remote keyless start” error issue crap always resetting the battery to make it go away. This is the video I was looking for and it sure made a huge difference. Easy to do DIY, totally worth it!! 💯🙌🏼

For those that have this warning and it does not accompany a code, Honda will deem it not covered under the extended warranty. For clarification, this is not a recall error. If you take it to a Honda dealership, you will be subject to paying the $179 diagnostic fee, which can be applied to fixing the problem. In other words, if you do not have the code, follow the guidance of this video.

So I see this is an issue that all Honda pilots have!! This should be a recall, but thank you much, my husband, and I will be doing this...

This is a warranty repair issue look up Service Bulletin 20-117, for 2016-17 pilots and 2017 ridgeline. American Honda is extending the warranty for the keyless start system on these vehicles to 9 years from the original date of purchase or 125,000 miles, whichever comes first

This has been happening to us for the past few months. I watched this video and then sent it to my husband. He quickly called our Honda dealership. They told us there was a recall for this problem. They told us to bring it right in and they fixed it for no cost at all!!

great video, thanks. my right rear shock mount just broke so i'll be replacing the shock too, i wonder if i could reuse the boot cover.

If doesnt show the keyless problem icon but when you push the ignitión the motor shut down but not the auxiliaries like radio, etc., and the beeper did not function too. The problem is in the buttom or is the computer?

I got same problem, on same car, same year, same model. This warning sign comes and goes. It is annoying. This is the fix.

I replaced the push start/stop button now my car won’t start with the key fob/remote like it used to what can I do?
