Every society had slaves and every society enslaved the "other" which was anyone not from their society. Is this actually a controversial subject? Slavery was the norm for thousand and thousands of years. It was not until the last 3 centuries that any effort has been made to stop the practice.

I would like to applaud the showing of this video, not just because somebody wants to seek truth but also that it is a black person, who stereo-typically, if I go by the number of pundits on MSNBC, CNN etc would seem to want to see only one perspective and tell only one story, so this very video does bust such a stereotype, which is positive. In all the media discussions that seem to largely create division between colours, cultures and races, this is the kind of thing that actually opens up discussion (note to Lewis Hamilton to learn of how to do things correctly) and engages all people, most importantly of all, not to establish who is right but what history tells us which is right and what else there is not enough evidence to support. If more people followed your path then I think that people would get on so much better and treat each other accordingly, ignoring so many irrational prejudices that just don't seem to go away. regardless of the age in which discussions take place. I would rather see you on Morning Joe etc than Al Sharpton or Karine Jean-Pierre, so mail them and suggest that you are given a voice. I would support it.
