I was diagnosed in November '23 and began taking Kesimpta in January after updating all my vaccinations. I have to say, the process has been remarkably easy with minimal impact. Since I started, I've only experienced two cold sores, which are a known side effect and I was advised to take the shingles vaccine as it could help with this.. The injection itself is very simple and, for me at least, quite painless. There's really nothing to be afraid of!

Thank you for taking the time to share this with us. My daughter has just been diagnosed with MS and it's heartbreaking. Your words about denial are so true, I understand the situation, but I don't necessarily believe it. She herself has said to me it's like it's happening to someone else even though she has been diagnosed and she is suffering. When I listened to your story I hear my daughter words in all that you are saying. Our journey has only just begun, so I will watch the rest of your videos. Once again thank you very much for taking the time to let others know that they aren't alone on this journey.

Where in AZ and who is your neurologist?

How much do the kesimpta hurt? More than infusion? I have ms also, this is my first time taking kesimpta. On scale of 1 to 10.

Keep it coming! I have MS that caused total blindness in my left eye. I fucking hate the MS life. People ask me if I am getting better or feel better - I always respond “fuck no” this disease does not work like that. There is no getting better. We get worse over time no matter what we fucking do! But I still have to work full time and meet the demands of life and pay the damn bills. Because that’s life. Work to die. Die to work. Until my number is called I keep up the grind! Monocular life is a bitch and certainly not for pussies! I also take Kesimpta. Costs a fortune but whatever!

Just did my first dose today! I feel like absolute garbage. Chills, low grade fever, body and muscle aches. But I’ve heard your first dose of the worst so I’m keeping my chin up! Thanks for sharing your experience. It really was painless! 😊

Badly torn jeans/clothing and even broken costume jewelry can be sold on ebay by the pound for crafting. Lots of crafters like to use them for specialty projects. Just look up scrap and whatever you are selling for comps.

Let me tell you, my name is Amanda and I am responding from my son Richard's account because I dont know how to change it. Lol. I just discovered you yesterday, and I just wanted to tell you that I love what you are doing. I had been toying with a similar idea myself. The online MS groups are great for support, but many articles are more positive than I can muster and the comments (like you mentioned) are depressive. I also am a psych major, want to help the others, and also have no one to really talk to about this crazy monster we face daily.

MS can and does break it victims down. Problems you never imagined are suddenly solely yours. Also, trying to explain some of the things we go through is impossible. I read somewhere this was like trying to describe a non-existent color to a blind person, and that seemed a good comparison. Thanks for putting your take on this beast out there. Very raw, which is the honesty people need to understand.

I would love your thoughts on the grieving process did you know that MS that it was normal to go through the process?
