Good News!! I just visited the Lindon Yard today (that’s where the Utah County ACE trucks go) and I still see the 473 there, and it also just got a new sibling, the 477 (same type of truck as 473) which got received from the West Jordan Yard

@@trashguy. I mentioned in an earlier comment that in spring 2016, the 498 did our trash for a bit, then closer to the summer the 477 then took over from here. Also, we just had the 402 (same as 408 but with more powerful lid-flips!) do my trash 3 weeks ago and did our trash mainly from late 2022-early 2023

No, I have not. The only time I've seen one was a couple years ago and I haven't seen it ever since and unfortunately I did not catch it
Well Ace purchased four of them last January, all of them currently assigned to my neighborhood Daybreak where I live, which divides garbage days from Monday-Friday rather than assigned to one specific day, which means its always gonna be the same trucks but in a different part of the neighborhood day-to-day except every once-in-a-while when a different truck subs in. 4053 does my recycling and 4055 on trash, 2 of the 4 Alleyhands while 4052 (the first Alleyhand ACE rolled out, also did my trash a few times) and 4054 (the other recycling truck in my area, I think it did my recycling only once) do the other routes, while also the other 2 of the total 4 alleyhands that ACE owns in their fleet which is so interesting. Basically, ALL 4 Alleyhands have done both my recycling and trash, 2 of them mainly and 2 on certain occasions!
That one’s not been here for a while, also the first time I’ve seen 4039 do recycling at all!

Is the 408 is mainly doing trash when there’s no recycling pickup that week on your route? Because I’m kinda seeing a trend there if you know what I mean!😂 My trash route has been shuffled now to the 424 truck doing it (kinda like the 408, but newer and a Pete 520) since last month
Yeah he gets my neighborhood a lot it does seem like he doesn't come that much on recycle weeks.

I actually just saw the 406 today doing recycling in a different part of Daybreak, where I live in, on a different garbage day since our community is so big. Yesterday though was my areas’ day and we had a Peterbilt 520 New Way (like 4008) but was a 4024 do recycling which was a surprise. We usually have Labries doing our neighborhood, but to have a New Way truck show up for my recycling was extremely rare

I suggest a better title is a Recycling Tag Team with 498 and the 4037, because I’ve seen these happen a ton as a kid!

Never have I ever seen an ACE truck serve my neighborhood that is missing the CNG tanks at the top (for example, 408, 498, 4012, 4010 that you’ve seen sometimes) Every ACE truck that shows up at my house has those tanks up top or on the front if you know what I mean

@@trashguy. 4012 is hanging around the West Jordan Yard nowadays. It’s usually subbing for other trucks in West Jordan & sometimes South Jordan or Daybreak

I don’t think the 473 showed up at my neighborhood ever, but during Christmas 2022 a 474 showed up and did our trash and it’s the same as the 473 and can be seen actually on Google Maps at the West Jordan ACE yard.
I guess watching the last like 5 times is the 408 now your main truck for trash?
I think the 498 did our trash for a little while when I was 12 in spring of 2016 before an Autocar 477 Labrie took over from there. Have you seen truck 404 yet? It’s the same color, Labrie and Peterbilt chassis that did our recycling for almost 3 years from 2020-2023
No I have not seen 404 I've seen 405 406 408
You won’t believe this but that exact truck did our recycling 4 weeks in a row recently until the streak was broken this last Tuesday by a brand-new Labrie Alleyhand 4053. 4055 now does our trash, also an Alleyhand

Back in the day, circa 1958, I worked for a trash collection company for a while. It was strictly a muscle job. These machines make it look almost fun, though like any job there are limits to the “fun” available.

What Garbage truck do you drive
Is the 4037 truck your main recycling truck now or do the trucks sometimes still change up every week. Where I live in Daybreak where Ace does our trash, I now mainly have 432 on recycle and a 4038 on garbage both Pete 520 labries
They sometimes switch up every week. Sometimes it stays the same truck
