A Guide to New Orleans Restaurants & Food Spots
Back in 2021, after many years of hoping, I had the opportunity to visit New Orleans for the first time. I enjoyed attending a wedding, going on tours, and exploring the city. But the high point for me as a foodie was definitely the food which was why I'd dreamed of visiting.

Zeus Greek Street Food is a laid-back quick-serve restaurant serving Greek and Mediterranean street food just outside Atlanta's perimeter in the Cumberland neighborhood. The food tastes great, portions are fair-sized, and everything is very reasonably priced working out to a good value for your money.

My visit to Hudson Grille Midtown in Atlanta, GA where I tried their sriracha bourbon and apricot habanero wings with some sweet potato fries. The food was a bit hit or miss but the atmosphere was perfect for watching Oleksander Usyk v Tyson Fury Heavyweight Undisputed Boxing Match.

I recently had an incredible lunch in Smyrna during Cinco De Mayo weekend. I visited The Corner Taqueria early on a Saturday afternoon and feasted on shrimp, steak, and pulled pork tacos. The steak taco was my favorite along with the elote, Mexican street corn that is roasted and coated with a spicy mayo and cotija cheese.

Breaker Breaker is a beach-themed seafood restaurant and bar on the BeltLine in Atlanta, GA. It was opened by the owners of Grindhouse Killer Burgers in the summer of 2022. The restaurant has a retro industrial beach vibe with indoor and patio seating.

Too bad Dan's Cafe closed because of his retirement. It was located around the Mission Rescue and was one of Nashville's best. Plus the prices were extremely reasonable.

You are 100% correct 10-15 years ago they were great but for whatever they seem to have inconsistencies in the kitchen on food taste. Plus they have gotten too damn expensive. Btw where do you go for soul food?

Hey! Just a fellow TH-camr from Pittsburgh here ! I’ve been on TH-cam since 2010 and your content is really good..I would say to grab an actual camera (Nikon,canon, etc). To record your videos and find a good editor to make them pop. Would definitely boost you up!
Thanks for the feedback. This video was shot around the time I first started the channel and was still trying to figure out how I wanted to structure the videos. Back then I was also traveling with my mom so couldn't always take the time to properly set up and get things the way I wanted. The full-length videos on the channel switch between a Canon Mark IV and Google Pixel 3A. The shorts are typically just the footage from the Pixel because it's smaller and easier to maneuver in vertical mode while out and about but I sometimes dislike the default color from its camera. I tend to go out by myself now to shoot these videos so I don't have to rush. Figuring out angles, cuts, and color is still a work in progress but enjoying the journey. Thanks again for the constructive criticism and all the best with your TH-cam journey.

The food was great all 3times we went but the service was a bit off during the last visit. Yet, I would still recommend stopping by for breakfast.

Eat at location on Decater Street 2nd week in January. We were a large party(10 people) and they sat us outside. . Great weather, great food and great staff On my bucket list to revisit on next trip down
It's a great breakfast spot and I would go again if visiting New Orleans.

Thanks and you're living in my hometown! I'd driven by many times but never paid it any mind. It's a cool spot that I would definitely revisit but there's a few others that I want to hit up first.

Want to see more of the food/table, less close up
I tried to make the best of the situation but recording was a bit difficult as I was sitting at the table with my mom and there wasn't much space between the two teapots, plates, and food tower. Not to mention, the other tables were very close and I tried to avoid recording other people. I'm actually finding it much easier to record when I'm by myself or seated at a four-person table/booth with only one other person.
How would this compare to other 5* hotels like the ritz?
I've only been to tea at the Wolseley though I would like to try some other places. Both afternoon teas are luxurious but the key difference is The Wolseley is more come as you are while the Ritz is a bit more strict.
