They weren't so much run first as they had a running quarterback that skewed those numbers. This is going to be a very West Coast offense with short passes and a lot of runs. But you don't go out and get Michael Gallup and draft Brock Bowers to run the ball

The Offensive *STAFF* is VERY different from Bears. We have Joe Philbin in the room to help coach the coaches. We have Rich Scangarello (known as a good play designer and has experience installing.), Edgar Bennet, Scott Turner Thats 5 OCs. SO different from the Bears room. IF something is up - I believe it WILL get corrected and AP won't allow dictators. Also remember two weeks ago this was "easier" than last year everyone was saying.

Making the assumption that what you saw Getzy do in Chicago, is what he will do with the Raiders is a mistake. In Chicago, he was doing what Eberflus wanted him to do. Look at his entire history. He is considered a "West Coast" coordinator because that is what he did in Green Bay, and at Mississippi State.

Raider's will win 6 to 8 games and regret not hiring Harbaugh when they had the chance. More bad moves by the Raider's as usual. Raider's have the 4th best roster in their division also. Fortunately, the Raiders have a lot more tape to study on the Chargers than vice-versa. Graham should have an advantage in developing a game plan against Herbert. The Chargers not so much. They have to piece meal New England tape together. Hopefully McDaniels will scheme up some smooth action the Chargers aren't ready for.

No one I know and die hard fans have wanted to hear this or talk about Grudens recent vs past history with this team. He’s on schedule by records and this year is playoffs. I agree, I think it is starting to come together reminds me a lot of the 98 and 99 years. Now we have our Garner, and Wheatley with Jacobs and Drake. I have faith that Gus will improve this defense enough to get us over the hump. We will not have a tenth placed defense like that 2000 team but I really think we will at least be middle of the pack. On a side note, the tuck didn't happen in 2000 we lost to the Ravens in the AFC Championship when Saragusa broke Gannons collar bone on a dirty move with his belly flop after tackling Gannon. 2001 was the divisional loss to the Pats and the fumble taken away we all know Woodson forced.
