RCLAB.INFO - Blade Nano S2 - Sport flying and sport crashing
มุมมอง 4114 ปีที่แล้ว
A quick evening flight with the Blade Nano S2. This helicopter is the perfect little trainer for the backyard. So much that I fear nothing and no one, and so I keep crashing! The Nano is fully stock, as I am a firm believer in keeping it light. You can see that it flies great, and keep bouncing off the grass!

After yesterday's crash, I fixed the broken pieces and went out flying again. This time all went well and I had a blast! I am really enjoying the 150S: it flies really well out of the box, with some Nano Tech 3S 450mAh 45C batteries (these ones : hobbyking.com/fr_fr/turnigy-nano-tech-450mah-3s-45c-lipo-pack-w-xt30.html?affiliate_code=IJWLGEBFXRGOPXA&_asc=7988522374) Thanks for watching!

Just noticed that twisting the blades causes all the head to wobble. The assembly is rigid, and you can see it is the servos that are moving. Is this normal, or too much? www.rclab.info

This time I took the DJI Phantom drone to explore the Hell Pit Dams near Saint Etienne, in France! There are two dams, one is called "Barrage de Gouffre d'Enfer" and the other is the "Barrage du Pas du Riot", both built under Napoleon III to provide fresh water to the city. I just had a big crash, doing a big loop and ran out of collective. BOOM.... Broken landing legs, main gear and rear blades. I was able to CA the landing legs and bought the rest for $20 US dollars. I also bought the 180 CFX canopy so I can see it. The green canopy is to dark for me.

    What do you reccomend. Nano s2 or the k110?

    • @RCLabinfo
      @RCLabinfo 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It really depends! I like them both. The Nano is great indoors, but still it needs some space (at least I do) to perform some mild 3D. It is brushed, so power is what it is. The k110 is a powerhouse, and outdoors is probably the best learning tool, which will take you to tail in to a very proficient 3D routine. Price wise, you can buy 2 k110 for every nano, and in terms of spares, Blade is more expensive, but readily available, while XK is dirt cheap, but you will need to wait longer for spares to arrive. So, if you have a back yard, go for the k110, if, like me, you live in an apartment, the Nano is probably the way to go.

      Vapletrichs Gne thanks mate! I really like the 150S: plenty powerful and nimble to be flown almost everywhere. It took me countless hours to grow the balls to try inverted backwards, after trying in the sim! I am now onto piroflips, but we are faaaaaar away from anything that resemble the proper manœuvre!

    I have that kind of slop on one of my servos, and less slop on the other 2. I ordered a new servo to check if it will also have such slop. I plan on buying xk k130 because it looks more rigid, and you can put metal servos on it.

    • @RCLabinfo
      @RCLabinfo 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the feedback! The helicopter flies fine with the sloppy servos, so for the moment I am not changing them. In regards to the 130, it is more rigid, but way more fragile and needs some modding to fly properly. What I really like about the 110 is that you can crash it all day long and keep flying. The 130...not so much.

I've had mine for just over a year and it hasn't flown right yet :{ no that I have decided to try again and after many youtube vids I' discovered that one of the servos has a stripped gear and the swash plate was never set up correctly at the factory. {still new to heli's} wasnt aware of the swash level thing but I could see that it wasn't even close to level so now trying to decide wether to fix or buy different.
