The initial melody is a paraphrase of "St. Mary's Trumpet Call" ("Hejnał Mariacki" in Polish). St. Mary's Basilica, built in the 14th century, where this signal is being played four times every hour is located in Cracow (Kraków) - the home city of Zbigniew Seifert. Great performance by Leszek Żądło Trio (BTW - "Żądło" means "Sting" in Polish).
