I read that the production was based on peacock cameras. Not true IMAX. And Peacock has its issues regarding game coverage, subscription, ads, and server/pixilation.

Back in the day, the state schools competed with the best in the nation, now most have dropped programs or dropped to D-2, Bloom, Lock Haven, Clarion, the FightingScots are not what they used to be. The PSAC champs could make a run for an NCAA title.

The luxury boxes are nice! Especially on either a rainy or cold day. BUT the game experience cannot be felt like when you are in the thick of the crowd! I've been to three games in the boxes, and if I never get into one again, I won't lose any sleep. Give me the outside experience getting my face blown off by the sound of the crowd! They want to make MORE money, and it's going to ruin the experience! Renovate and update the press box, and leave the rest alone!

Penn state is by far my favorite team, ironically ucla is my second favorite team… I can tell you straight up, Penn state fans and locals are not a fan of the big noon games…. We like the tailgates, we like the buildup and we love the night game vibe at beaver stadium Selfishly I live on the west coast and I hate having this internal debate of should I be drinking at 9am… but I will be flying out for the game, and tired as hell this Saturday 😂 local Penn state fans are still not a fan of this if you ask around though

I don't think people understand how scheduling time of game works nowadays. If the conference sets the time, then we would know the kickoff at beginning of season. The networks determine the time. I believe 1-2 weeks before the game, the networks Bid on each game, and the winner determines the kickoff time.

Penn State fan here -and i wholeheartedly agree this is unfair to UCLA. First time checking out you guys so let me say this -this conference is ALL about Ohio State and Michigan and everyone else is, at best, 2nd tier. Even vaunted USC.

"The Big Ten" was a 20th century football conference until 1994, when it went to 11 football teams (& all other sports for PSU). It is an anachronism furthered to the BIG14 in the 2000's & IS NOW ------------>>>>>THE BI-COASTAL 18 or, for arithmetically challenged Midwesterners, The BI-C18!

Wait. Isn't UCLA flying out early Friday to at least have a 24 hour window of adjustment before the Saturday noon kickoff? That should give them plenty of time to get settled. It would be crazy for the team to fly out early on Saturday to play the same day - at noon.

Ucla gets MORE RESPECT from the Pig Ten than Penn State does!!! At least they gave Ucla an invite, even if to provide USC with a "travel partner", which was just to provide a local competitor for USC's other sports and the local crosstown rivalry. Penn State barely even got voted into the Pig 10!! The ONLY reason was as an enticement to Notre Dame to form a 12-team conference with a CCG. Then AFTER Penn State signed the membership contract for the next 20 years...Notre Dame reneged and backed out of all negotiations to join the Pig 10. Since then, Penn State has been treated as the orphaned red-headed step-child!! NO Protected RIVAL?!!! The ONLY game that is anything close to a "rivalry" game is THE White Out!!! And the Pig 10 can't even accommodate Penn State on THAT!!! <<< THE GREATEST spectacle in ALL of the Sports World!! WE ARE......PENN STATE!!!! and WE....determine WHEN the White Out will be played and WHO the VICTIM will be!! THE White Out is ALWAYS a NIGHT GAME!!! Set up the schedule to ACCOMMODATE Penn State to play a worthy opponent at night in late September or October....not hard to do or unreasonable!! If The Fox Sports SUCKS Network wants to only air their SHITTY "big noon game" like CFB is the NFL....then they NEVER get to air one of THE BIGGEST sporting events on the planet....NBC and CBS will be glad to broadcast THE White Out!!

All CJF does is win, recruits well, develops players who end up in the NFL, and recruits coordinators that are so good that they become head coaches elsewhere. He has a higher winning percentage in the Big Ten than any other head coach Penn State has had (yes, even Paterno). The problem he has is that 5-star recruiting O$U is a better team -- 40 -3 against Big Ten teams not named Michigan, and that will change this year as O$U will beat Michigan for the 18th time in 23 seasons. So people mention firing him if he doesn't continue to product 10 and 11 win seasons?? The only thing he can do is continue to do his level best to get closer and closer to O$U level. I see that as progress. It is possible that O$U won't lose to anyone this year, and that is not a reason to spend money to give up on CJF. Now, if Penn State has a 3 - 9 season, followed by 4 - 7 season (like Paterno's 11th and 12th season in the Big Ten), then perhaps that might be appropriate.

West coast teams should have remained on the west coast and NOT in the Big Ten.

Unfortunately, the conference mostly cares about dollars, and they schedule the games for the best profit from TV revenue. Penn State fans aren’t fans of the noon kickoffs that much either, and we won’t be fighting the time difference.

East coast teams do the same thing when they go west to play

It’s because wrestling is the most godly sport known to mankind. Teaches empathy and the utmost respect to your fellow man. A father tells a son “you act like this is some kind of choice” it’s why our father in heaven is so strong. I trust that much. Father was the orginal holy roller and that stone got dropped somewhere on a high Pennsylvania mountain.

Farmers can wrestle because it’s winter time and they’re not as busy. That’s why wrestling is huge in the Midwest as well. That’s how it started. Now it’s a tradition handed down from parents. Like deer hunting.

Bc their mega tough and they wrestle incredibly hard. It's like why the Russians are so good. There're raised tough and start very early. I'll give you 1 example of why although in a different way. I've read about the Russians in battle all my life. Ya know how Patton got in trouble for slapping a U.S . soldier-- well at Stalingrad in ww2, the Russian commander-- to instill toughness and fear, lined up 100 soldiers and shot every 10th man in the face. One Combat hardened German soldier wrote in his diary how the Russians are not human and these are the people who also love wrestling.
