My roof has polisher was used only for a short amount of time and had stopped working on me and I had to contact Rupes to set it up for a return. it took about 3 weeks and they sent a new model out to me to replace the bad one. cordless HLR15 iBird. my reaction.

Update to my similar situation: Rupes diagnosed a failed power unit and sent me a new polisher within 4 days. So far so good on the new one and my 21mm which has had no issues. I'm sure they will get the root of the problem(s) fixed soon enough and will continue to provide excellent support. I'm still extremely happy with my purchases, but my corded machines aren't going anywhere.

I had a similar problem with my HLR15 (my HLR21 is still going strong though). Sent it in to Rupes for repair/replacement late last week. I'm sure they will make it right and likely know the cause of the issues. My guess is they have probably already rectified it for the current units in production and will continue to stand behind the ones impacted by the issue.

@@Danny-xj5ts it's a big problem with them I guess it's the first generation of these new products so they're trying to work it out just send both of them back and get them replaced for free you have a warranty. I know it sucks but RuPes is very fast..
Mine did the same thing yesterday!! After about 2 hrs. First use!
@@6781456 this is crazy it seems like this happens to all of the people that bought this product. Rupes is a great company and I do believe in Italian handmade products. It's a first gen of its kind so the problems are all coming out and will be fixed. Make sure you send yours back Go to the website and then put a voucher in for your repair order.
Took 3 weeks for my to come back, Mine instead of not working, the power in the machine running fluctuated 😢

But it has far less power/torque than mk2/mk3. Hlr21 is better and on bar with the 21 mk3. Also you cant use speed 5-6 after 50% battery. Major dissapointment...
Why would you use it at speed 5 or 6 anyways? You should be down around speed 3-4 for 99% of situations. When used as intended I have found no power difference between them and the MKIII corded machines that I own.
Pretty sure you're killing your start battery due to that setting being at 11 volts. Set it higher so you don't drain your start battery without the vehicle running...
I always start it when I use.
Awesome set up man I have a question. I have a 8070 mytee heated extractor and I saw your last video of you using the 3600 ecoflow electric generator do you think it’ll power my extractor ?
Hi and yes it would with no issues. I can start 7200 watts. And I can run anything. Thanks for watching.
It's 19amps and my Ar Blue is the same and it works fine with the EcoFlow.
What is the converter that interface between alternator charger and your Ecoflow?
I had to use a smart generator attachment so I can connect it to my Delta pro or else it doesn't fit any plug-in for the device.

Mine just did that it’s a bad battery
I had four of them now lol and they're amazing when they work. It did it all the time. The 5.0 doesn't work good but the 2.5 works good the battery size.
I have an older model and have never had a problem. I guess I won’t be upgrading!
this will get everywhere, will make cleaning the rest of the product and make streakes, on paint and the windows...
