Seen ten of thousands of films in my lifetime, but Uncle Peckerhead is a firm favourite of mine, mainly due to David's portrayal of a funny, charming and vulnerable Jekyll and Hyde type character. I'd love to see a sequel one day.

Such a great interview and so relaxed, great insights into the making, especially the music side. The director was still fresh at this point before the massive success of the film became apparent. Hope he doesn't get jaded. For me the film's arthouse and natural elements had vague tones of 'The Witch' but for me the film did not quite build enough on the arthouse side it introduced. It was like there was just that idea tacked on to a traditional slasher, it needed more development to make it satisfying. The walking bits were the best and stay with you after you leave the theatre. I think I'll watch it again though. It has that curious quality of leaving you wanting to see it a second time. And it's a weird film because you never quite know what the filmmakers were doing intentionally or not, like the 'bad' acting of the camp group and why the end scene was like it was. But thanks for a great interview.

This was an awesome interview, so happy Matt finally got that Paiste sponsorship, too. Also, I agree 100% that hypersonic BPM blasts are cool and all, but playing without triggers or losing power is how I believe drummers should play. You can be plenty heavy and/or technical and sound amazing and create tempos and grooves well under 200 BPM, the obsession with bands pushing speed and synthetic-sounding drums on records is getting kinda tired IMO.

I just discovered your channel. Really cool stuff so thanks for that! Nightmare on Elm St was the first horror movie I ever watched. My older brother was babysitting me (I was around 4 or 5) and he popped the tape in. I've been hooked on horror ever since. My local video store used to call me up and let me know what was new. Pretty funny in retrospect, and I'm grateful my Mom let me watch the shit that I did. Yeah, the Nightmare movies suck, but I love shitty horror movies. Great way to escape and goof off. I've pretty much seen 'em all, and I collected horror VHS for years. I'm a Mom now and I've been showing my kids some of my favorite flicks. They particularly love Demons & Demons 2. Thanks for the awesome content and looking forward to watching more! You should totally cover Rock N Roll Nightmare. It's a canadian horror movie and it's so freakin bad. LOVE IT

Peter and his teacher Ms. Divine placed that demonic witch back in the basement and even so she kept talking shit about how that won't keep her down! The ending goes from Peter escaping with the teacher up the stairs to his future bedtime where the demon was still there! My personal ending!!! The demon keeps popping shit while the teacher takes him upstairs and out the house. Then as she's driving he tells her of his assumption about how that demon was his sister! The teacher then conflicts with his story explaining how that's not possible but that she will stick around to wherever he goes next to make sure he's ok! Then the screen goes back to the demon in the basement with her saying he'll be back or and I will find him again! "After all we are family"! Then her demonic laugh ends the movie!

These women are absolutely amazing!! I specifically searched for this cast because I wanted to see them actually like each other. They were soooooo invested in these characters. It would have been and I am sure must have been soooo hard to play this part. But they were AMAZING!! So happy this video didn't disappoint
