If want to make the game look even more cenimatic there’s a setting that decreases the ui like when u go to assassinate an enemy it only said R1 instead of R1 assassinate and when u damage or stagger an enemy there aren’t any meters above their heads
How are you wearing an armour
Gorgeous natural environment is host to horrific, gory slaughter. Yup, that's a good samurai movie right there.
No cause that scene is the first time he's truly felt despair.
how is he being a wimp, when he's only protecting someone that he cares about alot?
@@HomlessKoopa he’s not protecting anybody💀 had goofy not saved their asses, sora and kairi would’ve been dead due to sora once again being a wimp. KH2 Sora would’ve blitzed terranort without hesitation
@trick2jee that doesn't make any sense, just because if goofy have not save them, doesn't make sora a wimp (sure good point for kh2) but once again also remember that sora lost his powers in DDD so he's kinda cooked which kinda also lower his self esteem, BUT later on though, kh3 showed that sora matured significantly throughout the journey showcased by his powerful speech to xehanort. in contrast to the beginning where sora felt worthless and unimportant, xehanort gained a newfound respect for him considering him a worthy keyblade wielder and even gives him the x-blade. Sora comes to the realization that everytime he finds kairi, she slips away again. sora declines the help from Donald and goofy to go save kairi and decides to save her alone. this is significant character development, it shows that sora was worthless without his friends and him deciding to save kairi without his friends shows how much he's grown.
but I guess we're gonna forget the time where sora punched Davy Jones earlier in the game, and I guess we're also gonna forget the times back in kingdom hearts 2, sora felt worthless, sad and doubtful too but during those times he had donald and goofy to always support him even during his lowest moments 🤷
and also he never fought against terranort in kh2, so I see no difference it'll make here
Donald and goofy were literally behind them
@@roxasuzumaki6628 and riku was right next to sora in kh3 but he still cries like a wimp even though they blitzed Xemnas in 2 no problem 💀
@@trick2jee you missed the point Donald and goofy were there to fight xemnas in kh 3 they're gone. And xehanort won. So better let it out all that careful planning gone to shit
@@roxasuzumaki6628 what point did i miss about sora being completely useless in EVERY cutscene? his entire character has been limited to the same monologue about hearts no matter who he’s talking to. once again, you can defend shit all you want but it’s still shit. It makes no logical sense to go from someone who has been about action to a wimp who never shuts up.
@@roxasuzumaki6628 instead of spitting out bot comments like “you missed the point” present an actual argument
@@trick2jee look I got a life I'm not going to argue with a child on the internet.
Kh3 is garbage. Nomura wrote an apology letter in the game. That should tell you something.
seriously?? lmao i never knew that. yet people defend this scene because of “context” as if people die and stay dead in the kingdom hearts universe
@trick2jee Yeah, plp crying over context are creating an excuse to defend it. Even if you look at the context, there is nothing deep in kh3 that will make the scene moving or empathetic for what sora is feeling. The whole game was a Disneyland advertisement and movie clips with no story progression for the main characters we love so much. There's only rushed conclusions for them which disrespects their journey and efforts in the beautiful storylines which we all hold dear. I get why people defend it so much it's a precious game we all wanted to to succeed. But it didn't and many will lie to themselves to defend it.
@@Ninpoon214 this is the correct take. especially your point on it being a glorified disneyland advertisement since all of the reaction commands are just disney rides. As well as understanding people’s defense of the game given how anticipated it was. Personally one of my biggest issues is how Soras character completely went backwards physically and mentally.
Bait
not at all
Is thi new dlc or something?
This is one of the multiplayer modes, it’s pretty cool
Yeah he's been through enough bs lol
I mean, maybe it's not by Disney in themselves since it always has been series of game with disney in it-the choices were made intentionnaly , because it's Nomura who's in charge of the story probably- We can focus on why these changes are made from 2 to 3. In KH2, Sora antagonizes the Organization with his anger which then is lead to Sora questionning if he should continue fighting with his keyblade which help the Organization to make Kingdom Hearts, at the end, where everything unfold (Axel's self destruct, Roxas's truth, Riku's reappearence, Ansem the wise), he is confident of what is at stake and roll with it. Sora becomes badass, slashing buildings and being confident to take heads on the Organization but leaded by anger and rebuilding his link with Riku once he is able reunite with him again. After 2, DDD happened, and well, that confidence that Sora had was pushed to his limits by the Organization and was destroyed due to losing all of his powers, almost being taken over as a puppet and losing the exam but still tried to act it off by congratulate Riku's win of the title of master. In 3, he tries to regain a semblance of his power but that makes him look weak too and because of that, Pete mocks him, as Sora is sensible and frustrated by being able to do nothing. Because of that, he tries to run it down with happy faces holding on a mask and not trying to bother others by not saying the information about the black box that Maleficient and Pete search to the others, and holding his frustration in too. As we continue in the game, most of the Organization interacting with Sora tries to make him act on fear to lead the rest unprepared and that's what happened. (I can also add the moment that Sora litteraly threw punches because it shows the anger of Sora lashing out) They made Sora more emotionnal and less of a badass at that point because there was already Riku for that to reassure him after every odds are against him and to remind him that he needs to trust in himself again to be able to gain hope again. And that's what happened, Sora finds himself and restores himself and literally goes against death and fate to rewrite the story, and from there, he is the one taking actions, taking down the heartless tornado with Ephemere's help, defeating each Organization members by the sides of the others- He's the main actor in all of that, but he can't do it alone and mostly with his friends to support him like with Donald and Goofy joining him to fight Master Xehanort too. He even saved Kairi and sacrificed his own life for her because he abused of a power to help those who are dear to him. So what we can understand? They made Sora more weak emotionnaly and reinforce his defaults to make the audience understand Sora's troubles in his mind due to his anger issues that break him down along the game but also made it clear that Sora is also powerful when he puts his minds to it and helped with others. Sora is human. His friends are his powers but he needed to understand that their powers is his too. Maybe that what's tick some people off like you and others, who don't like Sora down like that and want to see him as badass af with sick moves, and seeing him like that may feel off from him,I mean- yeah, you can express that, it's okay, but that how they made Sora in KH3 and only the next game can try to steer off in the direction you want him to have but to see how it goes since we are not divine beings able to foresee what will happen lmao. (Only the MoM could xD) Anyway, I may have make you lose some time and I'm sorry about that, but I wanted to share how it looks from an another perspective, not to say anyone's right or wrong. (I could also complain how awful Donald is as a character which forces Sora to not complain at all and not let him be sad to collect himself better and grow buuut hey, at least he did a pretty cool looking Zettaflare right??? :DDD [Donald's still awful tho, and for all those times he didn't heal us LMAO]) That's all, you may say something more and I'm open to hear it! We are all a lover of this franchise anyway and that's cool!
This is an answer lorewise, but gameplay wise- Ya know, Square Enix likes to reset Sora's power in a way or an another and it will happen in next game too sadly as predictable as it is, but we have to deal with it sadly. But in a way, grinding in game to see the progression in cinematic is cool too like how they tried in KH3 in San Fransokyo with Sora changing Forms for side characters to learn from him and become more powerfull too but to see xD
Disney didn’t make him anything, they don’t have control or say over the games outside of how the Disney worlds are portrayed? Sora and the main cast have nothing to do with Disney???
I feel you samurai🫡🫡🫡
Bahahahhah this great 😅
Its almost like all his friends INCLUDING his shorty just died right in front of him
You will understand more this point. if you play dream drop distance you can start seeing Sora being affected by the darkness in a bigger way.
I always hear the naruto theme in the beginning of the flute music.
It's the same note
This is why I will not be buying any more Kingdom hearts games after 4
Mfw a character has actual depth
I legit saw kingdom hearts on steam never play the 3rd game and I really don't want to I wany to play kingdom heart 1 and 2 and leave
Umm wth.
Daily reminder KH2 is better than KH3
Alone, im worthless *Riku just existing*
exactly🤣
I mean, sorry it's not wrong. He is pretty worthless when he's getting gained up by Everyone
I disagree but they just randomly "killed" everyone to add fake drama and then used time travel to just undo it in 10 minutes. Lazy writing. At least with Goofy's "death" in kh2 it was kinda believable because it was just him and then undoing it ending up being a heartfelt moment. Kh3 is disappointing.
I just have a hard time believing Sora would just give up, especially while Riku is still fighting. Without the asspull and everyone coming back to life, that would’ve been the end of Sora
Obviously you dont understand context
They really took their notes from Steven Universe huh?
that’s what i’m saying. but “you clearly don’t know understand the context of the situation” i keep being told, glad somebody understands what i mean🙏🤣
Bruh there's no changing your mind. I am just going to make sure I don't see more of your lousy content and piss poor "hot takes"
No way you used KH2 sora getting seperated from mickey and kairi to KH3 sora watching his friends who are almost if not just as powerful as him basically die in front of his face to a very powerful and large demon tide
There’s like five games worth of context you're missing out on here and fucking hell there’s a difference between a door closing and seeing your friends die lmao 💀
cope harder 🙏
@@trick2jee Coming from the guy who responds to every youtube comment, you sure seem struggling to cope yourself 💀
@@Youwillcarrythatweight dude if you’re that upset over my opinion that’s your problem🤣 it’s not my fault sora became a lame protagonist in 3. i stand by what i’m saying and it’s okay to be upset about it. like i said, keep coping 🙏🙏 i only respond because i like listening to others opinions as opposed to crying about it.
“Disney make him a wimp” like this game wasnt from disney since the start and everything sora does is for his friends, of course he will be sad
dude sora is a complete pushover in kh3 and it’s ok to admit it, bro had PETE of all people calling him weak. all of his dialogue in every single cutscene is cringier than it’s ever been
Thank you I’m glad some realized how badass sora is in kh2
the excuse of “well all his friends just died” as if anybody has died and stayed dead in kingdom hearts😭 he’s on the ground crying while riku is locking in. You’d think if it’s your last stand and you watch your friends die you wouldn’t just give up and start crying, but that’s KH3 sora for you.
@@trick2jeelight expired and darkness prevailed in that moment.
Lil bro really thought we would agree with him, huh?
u cryin just like sora huh
People showing emotion is overrated tbh. Guts should have just stayed calm when he saw all his friends die.
@@Randomnon941 comparing guts to sora is like comparing care bears to texas chainsaw massacre but nice try
@@trick2jee where talking about people showing emotion not character
@@trick2jee also sora is only a teenager
No they didn't
they totally did and it’s okay to admit
So we're just gonna ignore the context then?
Reading comprehension lacking :( We can take him on our own. WE! can take him on OUR! own. You would've had a point if he said I can take him on my own.
brah he wasn’t even alone, he still had riku with him
@trick2jee That’s the point of context that people keep bringing up, and you are ignoring. In one situation, he is still with the majority of his team, and the ones that got separated weren't in danger. As opposed to the other in which his party was getting taken out one by one. Yes, Riku was there, but after seeing your entire keep get decimated, it isn’t unreasonable to think Riku is next. Without Riku he is then alone. Hence why he is speaking on his impending doom.
Context is important also if you're okie dokie after your friends die you're either a psycho or sociopath. No one's an island at least 1 friend is important for us.
this is a great point
Yeah what a wuss. When I spend years of my life training, failing, having my progress reset every once in awhile, finally get the whole gang together, and then watch them all die literally right in front of me to the first guy, I suck that shit up.
don't show this dude the scene in 2 where Sora cries when he reunites with Riku, his brain might melt
Ong but I don't think that was the point of the video but still acting like Sora has no emotional limit is insane against Xemnas everyone was fine and he was locked in and ready, here all his friends were fuckin "eviscerated" and he failed to save them seriously like does no one remember in same game when he straight up just started clocking Davey Jones? Soras not a pussy he's a person
completely different scene💀 point is he was worthless during kh3
@@trick2jeeAh, someone who doesn’t understand what that scene represents! Let me guess, you didn’t play DDD did you? The one where Sora states his friends are his power? Or where Xehanort says Sora should have never have been able wield the Keyblade at all? Sora’s whole thing is “My friends are my power!”, and, since DDD, he’s learned that all the hearts connected to his give him his power. Then, he sees those very connections ripped away, lost to darkness, and killed. If the people who give him power weren’t strong enough, especially two out of three Keyblade Masters, what hope does he have? At this point, Sora is at his lowest, of course all he can think about is how useless he is. Then he is killed, proceeds to use time travel to tell Xehanort and the laws of the worlds to screw off, and save the day.
@@chaosjoker5637 DDD is a shit game. lets reset soras power level and have him take his masters test just to fail over some bullshit. despite your novel; my point still stands that sora is a complete moron in KH3, but you can keep defending a garbage DS game💀
@@trick2jeeBro didnt counterargument shit
😢 gross
Crying when your friends die is so gross.
@@Randomnon941 i didn’t see riku crying, and he has 10x the depth Sora has
@@trick2jee If I remember correctly Riku knew way less about them and Riku is an entirely different type of character. Riku is also way more emotionally mature. I think hanging out with Donaldstein and Goofyngstern will not help your emotional development
It’s the build up. War broke that boy.
In one scene Kairi and Mickey stayed locked outside a door while having Riku, Donald and Goofy by his side In the other scene everyone but Riku fucking died Context matters
They all died standing still against a wave of heartless. Idk. They have tons of powerful stuff so giving up there instead of like against Xehanort actually makes not much sense to me.
You have to remember what demon tide represents. It darkness in almost a pure form. Look what demon tide did to aqua. At this point they all had doubts in there hearts. Darkness defeat them before they actually got attacked in the scene.@@Douce1337
@@Japhox45 well remember that according to remind the demon tide looked like phantom aquas and that is why she didn’t fight. Ptsd is a bitch
But you have to consider the context here, in this scene Sora has just seen all his friends die
nah he should’ve stayed locked in like how riku was
@@trick2jee Kingdom Hearts already has a Riku, really dont need 2 of them
if you think that, then you know nothing about sora. @@trick2jee
@@trick2jeedo you even pay attention to the stories when you play dawg, Sora had to start from square one in kh3
@@trick2jeeman im glad you weren’t writing then that sounds god awful
So true massively got nerfed in character and in power
i’m pretty sure he had his powers reset in dream drop which is INSANE

What the HELL is bro smoking??? KH3 sora is the strongest he’s ever been, he beat the X-blade and learned how to rewrite reality
Sora literally has all of Xehanort's power by end of 3 lol "he got nerfed" tell me you're a brainlet who doesn't understand KH in less words next time. Also, cope harder over this scene.

This is what a "cinematic" videogame should be. It should be integrated in the moment to moment gameplay, not 30 hours of cutscenes or setpieces pretending to be a movie.
i have gotten many comments saying this video isn’t cinematic. if you watch the last few seconds the mongol ships in the backround are visible with the flute in the backround. i am not american but that is some cinematic shit
