Epic Adventure With Joe!!
The day dawned hot humide day in Inglewood, a charming little town nestled in the heart of Ontario, Canada.
Joe and I both shared a passion for cycling, and we had explored many trails and roads in the area together. This impromptu ride promised a mix of terrains, and we were excited about the journey ahead.
We set off from Inglewood, our bicycles gliding smoothly on the paved streets. The sun was just beginning to warm the day, casting a golden hue on the picturesque countryside. As we pedaled, we couldn't help but admire the charming houses and lush gardens that lined the streets.
Soon, the familiar asphalt gave way to gravel roads. The crunch of gravel beneath our tires added a delightful soundtrack to our ride. These scenic gravel roads meandered through rolling hills and dense forests. It felt like we were riding through a postcard-perfect landscape. The fresh air, the scent of wildflowers, and the distant chirping of birds created an idyllic atmosphere.
As we continued, we reached a section of rail trails. These converted railway tracks provided a smooth path through the countryside. The dense tree canopies above offered a respite from the sun, casting dappled shadows on the trail. We encountered other cyclists along the way, exchanging friendly nods and greetings as we all enjoyed the shared experience of exploration.
With our caffeine fix in hand, we savored our coffee and shared stories of our past cycling adventures. The café was adorned with vintage cycling memorabilia, which added to the charm of the place. We could have stayed there for hours, but the open road beckoned.
Leaving Caloden behind, we continued our journey towards Belfontain. The route took us along more gravel roads, offering breathtaking vistas of the countryside. Rolling hills challenged our legs, but the sense of accomplishment with each ascent was immensely satisfying.
Belfontain greeted us with its serene ambiance. We parked our bikes near a picturesque park and walked to another quaint café. This time, we opted for a light snack and some coffee. The camaraderie between cyclists in the café was heartwarming, and we exchanged tips and recommendations with fellow riders.

Reluctantly, we decided it was time to head back to Inglewood. The return journey retraced our path, but the scenery somehow seemed different, as if we were seeing it with new eyes. The beauty of the landscape was just as enchanting on the way back.
As we rolled back into Inglewood, We had completed a remarkable journey, filled with a mix of terrains, picturesque villages, and the simple pleasure of cycling. It was a reminder of the beauty that could be found right in our own backyard and the joy of exploring it with a good friend like Joe. With a sense of contentment and exhaustion, we parked our bikes and headed home, knowing that this impromptu ride was a memory we would cherish for years to come.

Echelon Cycling Club Rides to Arkell, Ontario
มุมมอง 156ปีที่แล้ว
As we embarked on our bike ride to Arkell, we had a few unexpected surprises on the way. At first we encountered a huge ass tractor that took up most of the road that we decided not to pass because we had 20 riders and it would not be safe. Then on the way, there was a charity ride doing most of the same route that we had planned, so spectators were cheering us on. Riding to Arkell you are gree...

I am new in Canada, and I find this cycling trail so captivating. Thanks for sharing
Keep rolling, want to see more.
Faster Joe faster😂😂😂
Amazing video
I'm thinking about this soon but I think I'll need bigger tires on my road bike. How many days did you ride and where did you stay? Did you do this in one day?
If you are planning on riding the simcoe loop make sure you do counter clockwise more rest stops to get water and snacks . You can do it on a road bike 28 width tire should be ok the ground is hard packed. We also did in one day. We are planning a repeat ride this time counter clockwise.
Love this!
Love this! You guys are AWESOME! Beautiful scenery and good people......
Thanks
Excellent scenery, great ride guys, looking forward to the next one.
You guys and your bikes ! Nice work Lui !
Thanks Steve one day I have to join you on a ride.
Great videio
Nice ride with that bad ass Joe
Joe was a trooper his sense of direction is amazing. When we got off course he knew.
can you connect to other trails from this trail
Hi Philip There is another trail that branches off in Bellwood right after the dam. I have never try that route. Going to Elora was our goal. Maybe one day I’ll detour and try it out.
We love your video! Wondering if you wouldn't mind giving me permission to use clips to repost on our own youtube channel and other social media platforms. We would of course give you credit and link back to the original video. Let me know what you think!
Sure I give you permission to post any clip of the video you like.
Wonderful video Lui you out did yourself, a true class act !
Thanks Steve I try my best
Awesome video,thanks for sharing 👍💪😎🚴
Thank you
Nicely done Lui, Thx a lot for this amazing video
Glad you liked it!
Awesome video thanks for sharing
Thanks Louie for the highlight reel, was a great day at Kelso
It was a blast 💥 thanks coach Martin
Hi Lui, the quality is lower than all other your videos, do you have a higher quality version? Thx
It’s down loaded at 1080p
How? Can you give me a like pls from a google drive
The download quality is not 1080
Video was processed in MPEG-4 1920x1080 /60p at 60Mbps
TH-cam upload at this Quality take a day to upload a long video. First it uploads in SD then it changes to HD
Nice meeting you , awesome video 👍😎💪🚴
Same thanks
Wonderful video, love the team.
I believe this nice video should be spread out more for others. Can I, by any chance, repost your channel on another platform called Gan Jing World? Hope to get your response soon. Thank you!
Ok you can repost my channel
@@CyclingOntario Thanks! I'm looking forward to your new video!
Pretty ride!
2 hands Charles!
We want more Andy!
It’s funny how at 3:22, everyone stopped and walked across the bridge. For the 50 KM, everyone just rode their bikes up 😂
All it took is for one person stop and walk there bike. Causing a jam
Good job nice video Lui
Thanks Charles
I did this today on my Cervelo Caledonia. Was a great ride. I started in Erin (plenty of parking), had lunch in Elora (also at the brewery) and back to Erin. Finished the day at Goodlot Brewery nearby before heading home. Was a great day. 84km total. It can be tricky through Fergus as the trailway ends suddenly. Thanks for the video. Enjoy!!
Thanks Mike, great to see you enjoyed the trail. If you like trail riding try Waterford to Port Dover also a great a great trail.
@@CyclingOntario thanks for the tip!
I like HAFTA better. More challenge 😊
This was not a Mountain bike ride. That on Saturday
Fantastic video Lui! Great memories of Tony and his ride.
It was an honour to attend this ride for Tony
I see this time you put slow motion. Great job Lui !
Thanks Lui. You make ECC a very good memory last forever.
My pleasure Charles
Buon laboro fratelo 😃🤗👍
Well done Lui, Barry and Mario, who rode to Elora the day before !
Is there any specific requirement to join you guys? And what's your usual riding distance?
Hi Vishal All you need is a road bike. We are part of the OCA that all members are part of that includes membership and insurance. You are more then welcome to come out and try the club out see if it’s a fit for you.
@@CyclingOntario thank you, could you please share me the link (if there is any) I'm really looking for riding group, I have trek 24 speed road bike, hope it will serve the purpose
@@vishalgill4527 there is a link to the clubs web page in my description. We are ride tomorrow morning at 9:00am we well ride about a 70to 80km ride starting from I'm using Waze to drive to to Brittany Glen Centre, 5602 Tenth Line W, Mississauga, Ontario.
Great to be in a club with a camera man ! I broke a spoke on this ride but at the end nice weather and nobody get injured ! See you soon all !
That’s right I forgot that you broke a spoke. See you next weekend
Nice video! One of my favourite cycling trails. Appreciate teh shade that covers a lot of the trail. It is stunning when all the crops are in their peak, thousands of pumpkins and fields of wheat. Only one busy road to cross and fairly flat.
Thanks John definitely a trail that I’ll do again.
Lui: your awesome.
Viva Italia 🇮🇹❤️❤️💪💪
What group set are you running?
I’m running 12/30 group set on a electric bike.
@@CyclingOntario I thought you were on a regular bike 😅
Everyone else rides a regular bike. I had open heart surgery. An e-bike keeps me riding with the group
This is really my favourite Channel! Thanks for your nice Videos, it is very enlightening, Waiting for your latest update. Don Mills Trail
