I was planning to release a 7.974 TAS I made some years ago but I decided to try to improve it with my better tools. I ended up saving 0.223 on it :D
It's harder to optimize maps where there are alot of hooks but Im confident this is very well optimized. For reference, the r1 by human is held by me and is 8.568
The next TAS will be of ctf4 old!

I made this a while ago just because I had a crazy idea for a cool start. It ended up working so here it is :) I could probably save a couple of ms but the run would most likely look the same so I dont care too much. For those who dont know, I dont use grenades at the end because they would make me slow down (yes Teeworlds is weird).

Just saw the TAS made by Headshot and wanted to give him some competition ;) I did 3 passes of optimization. I hardly see any more time to save on this. I give a maximum of 0.06s to be saved from this with a truly perfect run. Some other random TASes to follow in the next days.

After many players requested to see this, I finally decided to upload it. I decided to make this run because Teeworlds physics are godlike and I wanted to see them pushed to their limits on such a map, because no one can play like this in real time. Here is my new personal record on run_guy_25 :D I did this run on my 0.7 race server. Most of the time lost in this run was because of getting stuck in 1 tile floors... so annoying I will continue to try to improve this. Goal is under 3:30

EDIT: better run can be found here th-cam.com/video/t85J7JTOgpY/w-d-xo.html This run is already better than the last, but there are still too many mistakes to stop here... I hope you enjoy the run anyway! Part 7 was the worst, parts 9 10 14 16 17 23 and 24 were meh and the rest was good. I will definitely improve that time in the future ^^

Very nice run. Only "major" mistakes were the last 2 levels... especially S6, where I just didnt do my strat correctly cause I'm stupid idk. Some time can be saved overall but now it wont be easy at all :s Satisfied with this for now, hope you find this speedrun entertaining and my routes interesting! I hope more people will try to speedrun this game as the physics are really well made and that...

Way better run than my previous WR, saved 10 minutes. I finalized my strats on every level so its all about execution now. It's going to be hard to beat that time but it's very possible. Sub 100 deaths hype :D

I consider all levels as a speed run except at level 76, which is a no-deaths run. Level 78 route is not optimal, I just did it to show-off a little xD I have nothing else to speedrun in this game, so please tell me what you want me to do next :) From now on, I'm waiting for new additions to the game. Oops level 70 should not be the first one, sorry xD I don't consider this as a real speedrun. It's just a fast walkthrough. I did that just for fun so I won't try to get better times. On some levels, it would be really hard to be very fast anyway. I will upload the true fan levels tomorrow :) Feel free to comment :)

Should do tas run with rocket from start and see what score u get
0:19 - Ghost Jump / 0:28 TP ROCKET to the best position / 0:32 1000 hooks in 0,5 seconds (thats dont seen) / <- 0:37 THE SAME / 0:39 Invisible hooks / 0:44 fly in straight line and dont hook? (But the hooks sond can listen) / 0:48 the same 1000 hooks in 0,5 seconds (thats dont seen) and more... But nice record :D
This is TAS, not played in real time by myself lol. Teeworlds runs at 50 fps so you can hook 25 times per second in theory. Some hooks only last 1 tick so you don't see all of them in youtube video, but in demo viewer you see all if you slow down. I get double jump back on the platform right before what you call a "ghost jump". I don't know what you mean by TP rocket though.
